I am fascinated with this piece from the National Museum of Natural History of Chile. On the downloadable model I made a treatment of the base texture to define the elements and improve the visibility but the colorimetry could not be respected. With a correction in the original images could generate a reconstruction of more quality. Name: Tablet Rongo Rongo 1 Autor: Museo Nacional de Historia natural de Chile Description: Wooden tablet with writing. It comes from Rapa Nui or Easter Island and was brought by the corvette O'Higgins in 1870. The Rongo Rongo tablets have a type of ideographic writing that until today could not be deciphered. This specimen has about 720 glyphs in total. Detailed study on the swelling behaviour is presented in a journal paper entitled "DEM modelling of controlled drug release of push-pull osmotic pump tablets ". This tablet is from Izmir archaeological museum. Last week I visited there and I wanted to try convert one of the tablets to 3d model for that I reason I did this. Firstly I create displacement map from [This website](https://cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/) after that I created low poly and high poly model with displacement modifier. Finally I created sculpted version in zbrush.
