Large aircraft landing dataset at 20 large europen airports
<p>This dataset includes metadata of landing trajectories at 20 large European airports for the period from January 2019 to June 2023. The metadata have been sourced from ADS-B flight trajectories sourced from the OpenSky Network and EUROCONTROL's Network Manager. <p>This dataset contains the results from the route evaluation that took place for Rotterdam The Hague Airport in 2021, in collaboration with the working group of the CRO to evaluate an alternative starting procedure for runway 06.</p> <p>This evaluation has been supported by the Royal NLR as part of the activities in the EU Horizon 2020 ANIMA Project. The presentation shows the locations that were measured. </li> <li>The spreadsheet contains the raw data and a translation to scoring per location by the participants. The test generated a score (Column A) that had to be reported. To prevent bias in ordering, some participants heard the original route first and then the alternative route or the other way around. This was translated to a version number in column 2. For each location, a annoyance score is reported between 1 (not annoying) and 7 (extremely annoying).</li> <li>Averages and SD are calculated in addition to this raw data. Cluj Airport - Data related to interdependencies and to Quality of Life
<p><strong>Data on interdependencies</strong></p> <p>The case study about interdependencies between noise, emissions (CO2, CO, NOx) was performed within the local context of Cluj-Napoca (Avram Iancu) International Airport (Romania) by COMOTI (Romania).</p> <p><br> Airline data and support was provided by Blue Air Aviation and Getsafe Aviation Solutions and Cluj-Napoca Airport.<br> The sample provided here shows an example of data used to perform analyses in order to outline their effect in terms of noise and emissions. Data for: The role of landscape in shaping bird community and implications for landscape management at Nanjing Lukou International Airport
<p>Understanding the patterns of bird diversity and its driving force is necessary for bird strike prevention. In this study, we investigated the effects of landscape attributes on phylogenetic and functional diversity of bird communities at Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NLIA). Bird identifications and counting of individuals were carried out from November 2017 to October 2019. Based on the land cover data, the landscape was divided into four main types, including farmlands, woodlands, wetlands and urban areas. Bird phylogenetic and functional diversity were strongly affected by landscape matrix types. Bird species, phylogenetic and functional richness were highest in woodlands, while phylogenetic and functional structure were most complex in wetlands. We found that related carnivorous birds occupied most niches at the NLIA. Moreover, bird assemblages exhibited phylogenetic and functional clustering in all landscape matrix types, which meant environmental filtering governed community assembly. Landscape attributes of different matrix types influenced phylogenetic and functional diversity of bird communities. Landscape diversity affected bird functional structure positively, and the mean of patch area in the landscape had the strongest explanatory effects. To prevent bird strikes, we suggest that more small-area woodlands with low levels of aggregation can be considered and farmlands should be patchier and more regular. At landscape level, the number of patches can be adjusted to reduce the frequency of bird activities.</p>
