'.ers', '.erc', and '.ert' are spectra, colour plots, and transients, respectively, in the native format of Laytec's EpiRAS. '.par' files are in the data format from the Princeton Applied Research VersaSTAT 3F potentiostat. Spectra files containing the name 'Si100' are from Si(100) wafers with native oxide, used for zero-line correction as described in the paper.</p>

Analysis of Effective Stiffness and Anisotropy of AC 16 Asphalt Mixture within NCN project Weave-UNISONO 2021, project No 2021/03/Y/ST8/00079
<p><strong>Summary</strong>:</p> <p>The internal structure of the AC 16 (asphalt concrete mixture) was divided into the mortar phase and the mineral aggregate phase. Static creep tests using the Bending Beam Rheometer were conducted for the mortar phase to fit the rheological model. The aggregate arrangement and orientation were analysed using ImageJ software for the mineral phase. The Finite Element Method (FEM using ABACUS software) meshes were prepared based on images with an assumption of plane strain in 2D formulation. Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and rock magnetic data for Pachmarhi dyke swarm of Deccan
<p>The Pachmarhi dyke swarms, situated in the Eastern part of the Narmada-Satpura-Tapi (N-S-T) dykes of the Deccan Continental Flood Basalt (DCFB), are studied using the Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS) technique. Here, we determine the direction and sense of magma flow within the dykes to gain insights into the depth, number, and location of magma chambers, as well as the geodynamics of their plumbing system. Petrography and rock magnetism analyses revealed high-titanium magnetite particles, predominantly of Pseudo-Single Domain (PSD) nature, with a smaller proportion of Multi-Domain (MD) grains. We identified four distinct magnetic fabric types (I-IV) within the Pachmarhi dykes. The imbrication of magnetic foliation (for oblate fabric) and magnetic lineation (for prolate fabric) has been employed to discern the direction of magma flow which revealed multiple trends of magma flow, ranging from vertical/sub-vertical to inclined, with one particular dyke exhibiting lateral flow. The intersection of imbrication within the dyke margins provided valuable information about the presence of multiple shallow sub-crustal magma chambers which are supported by independent geophysical evidence and are similar to those of the Nandurbar-Dhule dyke swarms in the western region of the N-S-T dykes. Consequently, it can be inferred that the emplacement of dykes in the Pachmarhi region of the NSL, which were possible feeders to the late-stage Deccan volcanism, was primarily facilitated by a "polycentric flow" mechanism, wherein magma was injected vertically through shallow crustal fissures, potentially feeding into the late-stage Deccan flow units like Ambenali or Mahabaleshwar formation.</p>
Data rom: Stiffness anisotropy coordinates supracellular contractility driving long-range myotube-ECM alignment
<p>The ability of cells to organize into tissues with proper structure and function requires the effective coordination of proliferation, migration, polarization, and differentiation across length scales. Skeletal muscle is innately anisotropic; however, few biomaterials can emulate mechanical anisotropy to determine its influence on tissue patterning without introducing confounding topography. Here, we demonstrate that substrate stiffness anisotropy coordinates contractility-driven collective cellular dynamics resulting in C2C12 myotube alignment over millimeter-scale distances. When cultured on mechanically anisotropic liquid crystalline polymer networks (LCNs) lacking topography, C2C12 myoblasts collectively polarize in the stiffest direction. Cellular coordination is amplified through reciprocal cell-ECM dynamics that emerge during fusion, driving global myotube-ECM ordering. Conversely, myotube alignment was restricted to small local domains with no directional preference on mechanically isotropic LCNs of the same chemical formulation. These findings provide valuable insights for designing biomaterials that mimic anisotropic microenvironments and underscore the significance of stiffness anisotropy in orchestrating tissue morphogenesis.</p>
