<p>This is the collection associated with list S110 DUTCHUSE Dutch Prioritized Chemical Use Categories on the NORMAN Suspect List Exchange.</p> <p><a href="https://www.norman-network.com/nds/SLE/">https://www.norman-network.com/nds/SLE/</a></p> <p>List of 1700+ compounds with monitoring data and their assigned use categories performed within Dutch prioritization exercise by Ad eco advies and Deltares (NORMAN Working Group 1).<br> The final use category was compiled from several lists, including the <a href="https://watson-cost.eu/outputs/databases/">Watson database</a>, <a href="https://www.riwa-rijn.org/en/">RIWA</a>, <a href="https://rvszoeksysteem.rivm.nl/ZZSlijst/TotaleLijst">Dutch Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)</a>, Kennisimpuls Waterkwalititeit (KIWK), WFD priority and specific pollutants (NL), <a href="https://www.norman-network.com/nds/SLE/">NORMAN lists</a> and some expert judgement.<br> The 1700 compounds were chosen based on availability of Dutch targeted monitoring data (3 different datasets) in 2022. A Computational Theory for the Emergence of Grammatical Categories in Cortical Dynamics

<p>The file <strong>Corpora.txt </strong>keeps the corpus used to train the model and the different instances of the classifier. It is basically a text file with one sentence per line from the original corpus called <strong>test.tsv</strong> available at <a href="https://github.com/google-research-datasets/wiki-split.git">https://github.com/google-research-datasets/wiki-split.git</a>. We eliminated punctuation marks and special characters from the original file putting each sentence per line.</p> <p><strong>Enju_Output.txt </strong>holds the outputs generated by Enju in -so mode (Output in stand-off format) using Corpora.txt as input. This file has basically a natural language English per-sentence parse with a wide-coverage probabilistic for HPSG grammar.</p> <p>The file <strong>Supervision.txt </strong>keeps the grammatical tags of the corpus. This file holds a tag per word and each tag is situated in a single line. Sentences are separated by one empty line while tags from words in the same sentence are located in adjacent lines.</p> <p>The file<strong> Word_Category.txt</strong> carries the coarse-grained word category information needed by the model and introduced in it by apical dendrites. Each word in the corpus has a word-category tag which provides additional constraints to those provided by lateral dendrites. This file contains a tag per word and each tag is situated in a single line. Sentences are separated by one empty line while tags from words in the same sentence are located in adjacent lines.</p> <p>The file <strong>SynSemTests.xlsx</strong> keeps all the grammar classification results as well as the statistical analysis in the classification tests.</p>

Rule based and information integration category learning

<p>The following dataset includes sessions from rats and humans learning and generalizing to Rule-based and Information Integration categories. Here, category exemplars are Gabor patches, which are circular stimuli that contain black and white gratings. Across exemplars, these gratings can change in their spatial frequency and orientation. For Rule-based tasks, only one stimulus dimension (i.e., spatial frequency or orientation) is category-relevant, and the other dimension varies randomly. For Information Integration tasks, both stimulus dimensions (i.e., spatial frequency and orientation) are category-relevant. On each learning trial, participants are presented with a category exemplar and must decide its category membership. Feedback guides learning. Rats are trained using a touchscreen apparatus, whereas humans are trained using a desktop computer. </p>

Data for: Bulk microphysics schemes may perform better with a unified cloud-rain category

<p>Bulk microphysics schemes continue to face challenges due in part to the necessary simplification of hydrometeor properties and processes that are inherent to any parameterization. In all operational bulk schemes, one such simplification is the division of liquid water into two subcategories (cloud and rain) when predicting the evolution of warm clouds. It was previously found that biases in collisional growth in a bulk scheme with these separate liquid water categories can be mitigated with a unified liquid water category in which cloud and rain are contained within the same category. In this study, we examine the effect of artificially separating the liquid water category on other microphysical processes and in more realistic settings. Both our idealized 1D and 3D results show that a unified category bulk scheme is fundamentally better at predicting the timing and intensity of rain from warm-phase cumulus clouds compared to a traditional (separate) category bulk scheme. This is because a unified category bulk scheme allows a bimodal distribution to exist within one traditional "rain" category, whereas separate category bulk schemes only have one mode per category. This advantage allows the unified bulk scheme to retain the information of the largest droplets even as they fall through a layer of small raindrops. A separate category bulk scheme fails to represent this bimodal feature in comparison.</p>
