<p>This data is a dump from ROARMAP [http://roarmap.eprints.org/] taken in June 2015.</p> <p>ROARMAP is the Registry of Open Access Repository Mandates and Policies, a searchable international registry charting the growth of open access mandates and policies adopted by universities, research institutions and research funders that require or request their researchers to provide open access to their peer-reviewed research article output by depositing it in an open access repository.</p> <p>A number of fields have been added including country names, repository urls, continent etc.</p> <p>The data is being used for a series of data visualisations [http://pasteur4oa-dataviz.okfn.org/] for the PATEUR4OA Project [http://pasteur4oa.eu/].</p> <p> </p> <p>PASTEUR4OA (Open Access Policy Alignment Strategies for European Union Research) aims to support the European Commission’s Recommendation to Member States of July 2012 that they develop and implement policies to ensure Open Access to all outputs from publicly-funded research. </p> <p>PASTEUR4OA will help develop and/or reinforce open access strategies and policies at the national level and facilitate their coordination among all Member States. PSM-AP Comparative document analysis data: Priorities and challenges in the policy and digital strategies of ten PSM
<p>The document consists of a list of 61 key policy and strategy documents analysed as part of the comparative work conducted in WP1 of the project Public Service Media in the Age of Platforms (PSM-AP). It also contains a series of selected quotes supporting the three key areas prioritised by the policies and PSM digital strategies: People (reaching audiences), Personalisation (developing the video-on-demand portal), and Prominence (of PSM services and content). The data was collected and analysed in 2023, from documents concerning 10 PSM organisations in seven media markets: Belgium-Flanders (VRT), Belgium-Wallonia Brussels (RTBF), Canada (CBC/Radio-Canada), Denmark (DR, TV 2) Italy (RAI), Poland (TVP), and the UK (BBC, Channel 4, ITV). All quotes were translated to English by the authors.</p>

<p>This repository contains the data, scripts and results for the paper "Demand-side policies for power generation in response to the energy crisis: A model analysis for Italy", https://doi.org/10.1016/j.esr.2024.101329.</p> <p>Results in the paper are divided into three sections, corresponding to the numbers of the folders inside this dataset. They are described as follows:</p> <p>1 - EU policy impact: What is the impact on the Italian electricity of the european proposal of cutting power demand and shifting it during peak hours on gas consumption, system costs and emissions?</p> <p>2 - Gas cost sensitivity: Which would be Italy’s most convenient power system considering different gas prices?</p> <p>3 - DSM in mitigation: What could be the role of demand side measures in power systems with a high penetration of RES?</p>
Participant observation data from local, storytelling, multi-stakeholder energy policy workshops
<p>The SHAPE ENERGY (EU Horizon 2020) undertook 17 multi-stakeholder energy policy workshops over November 2017 – May 2018. These workshops were mostly in partnership with municipalities who posed local energy problems that needed to be ‘solved’. The workshops brought local stakeholders together through storytelling facilitation techniques. The included data herein are anonymised components of the completed participant observation templates that partners used at these workshops. In particular, the data predominately relates to the conversational exchanges in one very closely monitored session across all the workshops.</p>

<p>This dataset was produced as a part of a research MSc thesis project, “<em>Using Europeana Metadata to Analyse The EU’s Policy Effectiveness in Digitising European Heritage</em><em>” </em>published by the KU Leuven in joint cooperation with Europeana.</p> <p>The dataset contains the data from the Europeana API call, graphs created form the data and the code needed to collect the CH metadata from Europeana digital collections which was used to evaluate the policy aims used in the study. <p>These data are part of a data portal that accompanies the special issue 'Climate change adaptation needs a science of culture,' published in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B in 2023. To access the data portal, please visit <a href="https://doi.org/10.5061/dryad.bnzs7h4h4"><strong>https://doi.org/10.5061/dryad.bnzs7h4h4</strong></a>.</p> <p>The files consist of the code of an agent-based model (ABM) in a NetLogo, detailed documentation of the ABM in a standard format, and a table of data exported from the simulation experiment reported on in the paper. By downloading the Netlogo file, one could not only rerun the experiment we report on and recreate the data table but toggle parameters or edit the model to explore other dynamics.</p>

Data from: Emerging risks of non-native species escapes from aquaculture: call for policy improvements in China and other developing countries
<p><span>1. Global aquaculture relies heavily on the farming of non-native aquatic species (hereafter, NAS). NAS escapes from aquaculture facilities can result in serious aquatic bio-invasions, which</span> has been <span>an important issue in the FAO <i>Blue Growth Initiative</i>. A r</span>egulatory quagmire regarding NAS farming and escapes, however, exists in most developing countries.</p> <p><span>2. We discuss aquaculture expansion and NAS escapes, illustrate emerging risks, and propose recommendations for improved aquaculture management</span> across developing countries and particularly for<span> China. </span></p> <p>3. <span>In </span>China<span>,</span> 68 NAS are known to have successfully established feral populations in natural habitats due to recurrent leakages or escapes; among the 68 NAS, 52<span> represent risks to native aquatic ecosystems. In addition to affecting a country's own biodiversity and ecosystem functions, NAS escapees can also threaten the </span>biosecurity<span> of shared waters in neighboring countries.</span></p> <p>4. <i>Policy implications</i>. <span>Non-native aquatic species (NAS) </span>escapes have already had adverse ecological effects in China and other developing countries. The importance of this problem, however, is not adequately recognized by current conservation policies in developing countries. To conserve biodiversity and to support the<span> goal of FAO's</span> sustainable aquaculture, developing countries <span>should now take responsible actions</span> to address NAS escapes <span>through policy and management improvements. Specifically, these</span> countries should pass comprehensive legislation, establish effective agencies and national standards and planning, and enhance integrated research and education to deal with risk assessment, prevention, monitoring, and control of <span>NAS</span> escapes. Given that China is the world's largest aquacultural producer, China can create a model for other developing countries that will increase the biosecurity and sustainability of global aquaculture.</p>
