Ice-penetrating radar data used in paper "Evaluating and locating a suitable bedrock drilling site near Zhongshan Station with airborne and ground-based observations"
<p>These are the ice-penetrating radar data used in Figure 4 of the paper "Evaluating and locating a suitable bedrock drilling site near Zhongshan Station with airborne and ground-based observations".</p> <p>The"read_image.m" file can be used to re-display Figure 4(a) of the paper, where the "x.mat", "y.mat", and "radar_profile_data.mat" are the x and y coordinates of the survey line, and the return power of the ice-penetrating radar data, respectively.</p> <p>The "Data_of_profile_A-A'(Figure_4b).xlsx" file includes two sheets. One is the "subglacial topography" sheet, which includes information about longitude, latitude, ice thickness, bed elevation, and hydraulic potential along the profile A-A'. The other sheet is the "BRP" sheet, which includes information about bed reflection power along the profile A-A'.</p>

SnowEx20-21 Cameron Pass Derived Snowpack Relative Permittivities and Densities from Ground Penetrating Radar V001
This data set contains the results of ground-penetrating radar surveys conducted at Cameron Pass, Colorado during the SnowEx20 campaign. Data include two-way travel time, lidar-measured snow depth, derived snow water equivalent, derived snow density, and derived relative permittivity. Ground-penetrating radar two-way travel times were sourced from two previously published data sets: <a href="https://doi.org/10.5067/U4Q3X27BMRR4">SnowEx20 Cameron Pass Ground Penetrating Radar, Version 1</a> and <a href="https://doi.org/10.5067/SRWGLYCB6ZC4">SnowEx21 Cameron Pass Ground Penetrating Radar, Version 1</a>. The new data presented here represents a recalculation of the snow water equivalent (SWE), snow density, and relative permittivity using terrestrial lidar scan (TLS) data.

Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) Data from 41PT283 in Potter County, Texas
<p>On June 27, 2015, a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) survey was conducted at an Antelope Creek site (41PT283) on the Bureau of Land Management's Cross Bar Management Area in Potter County, Texas. These data represent raw, unprocessed data collected along the X-axis of a 13m (X-axis) x14m (Y-axis) grid at 50cm intervals. This survey is linked to an existing grid from previous investigations at the site in 2007 and 2008. These data will serve as a comparative reference for additional GPR surveys in the area of the Canadian River basin, can be used as an educational dataset to teach GPR processing techniques, and is representative of one of the first GPR surveys at an archaeological site in the Texas panhandle. This dataset includes 29 transects and an illustrated grid.</p> <p>Many thanks to Ryan Howell, Adrian Escobar, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for requisite permissions and access.</p>

These data represent raw, unprocessed data collected along the X-axis of a 55m (X-axis) x13m (Y-axis) grid at 50cm intervals, and a concatenated 27.5m (X-axis) x 10m (Y-axis) grid; also collected at 50cm intervals. These data will serve as a comparative reference for additional GPR surveys in the area of the Canadian River basin, can be used as an educational dataset to teach GPR processing techniques, and is representative of one of the first GPR surveys at an archaeological site in the Texas panhandle.</p> <p>This dataset includes 26 transects (FILE__001 - FILE__026) that were collected in a zig-zag pattern along the X-axis of the 55m x 13m grid, beginning in the lower right corner. The additional 20 transects (FILE__027 - FILE__046) were collected from the area immediately adjacent to the first grid, and concatenate with the first grid beginning at the 27.5m center line, which were also collected at 50cm increments beginning in the lower right corner of the grid, adding 10m along the Y-axis.</p> <p>Many thanks to Ryan Howell, Adrian Escobar, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for requisite permissions and access.</p>
