Decoding the Brain Mosaic: Region and Cell Type-Specific Dysregulation Patterns in Stress and Psychiatric Disorders
<p>Supplementary Online Tables for the doctoral thesis "Decoding the Brain Mosaic: Region and Cell Type-Specific Dysregulation Patterns in Stress and Psychiatric Disorders" by Nathalie Gerstner. </p> <p>This repository includes complete lists of differentially expressed and differential hub genes, alongside the results of enrichment analysis for 8 brain regions examined in a mouse model for transcriptomic alterations following glucocorticoid stimulation (Online Tables 1-30). Additionally, the repository encompasses the complete results of differential expression and chromatin accessibility analyses across various cell types examined in postmortem brain tissue of the orbitofrontal cortex (Online Tables 31-37). These findings delineate the transcriptomic and epigenomic changes between psychiatric cases and controls, as well as between donors with high and low genetic risk for psychiatric disorders.</p> <p>The lists of all genes tested in the respective studies, not just the significant ones, can be found in the "GRactivation_MouseBrain_tables.zip" and the "SingleNuc_PostmortemBrain_Tables.zip" archives.</p> <p> </p>
OBF-Psychiatric, a motor activity dataset of patients diagnosed with major depression, schizophrenia, and ADHD
<p>Mental health is vital to human well-being and its prevention strategies have a huge impact on quality of life. With new developments in sensors, it is now possible to continuously collect behavioral data which can be used to gain insights into mental health states. This has the potential to optimize psychiatric assessment and intervention processes, thereby improving patient experiences and outcomes. However, access to high quality medical data for research purposes is limited due to high costs, time, and privacy concerns, to name a few, and this is especially true for mental health related fields. To this extent, we present the "OBF-Psychiatric, a motor activity dataset of patients diagnosed with major depression, schizophrenia, and ADHD" dataset which comprises motor activity recordings of patients with bipolar and unipolar depression, schizophrenia, and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). The dataset also contains motor activity data from a clinical and healthy control group, making it suitable for building machine learning predictive models and other analytics. It contains recordings from 162 individuals totaling 1,565 days worth of motor activity data.</p>

Matching Registered Nurse Services With Changing Care Demands in Psychiatric Hospitals: A Multicenter Observational Study (MatchRN Psychiatry Study). Data from the Nurse Survey
<p>MatchRN Psychiatry is a multicenter observational study of Swiss psychiatric hospitals. This study's purpose is to describe health care quality by exploring hospital structures such as nurse staffing and the work environment; processes such as the rationing of care; nurse outcomes, including job satisfaction and work-life balance. The sample for this study included approximately 1200 nurses from 115 units of 13 psychiatric hospitals in Switzerland's German-speaking region. The nurse survey covered three dimensions: work environment, patient safety climate, and the rationing of care. Data were collected between September 2019 and June 2021. The MatchRN Psychiatry study is funded by the participating psychiatric hospitals and the Swiss Psychiatric Nursing Leaders Association (Vereinigung Pflegekader Psychiatrie Schweiz).</p>
