Improved estimation of the prevalence of bovine cysticercosis and the diagnostic test characteristics in the absence of a reference standard using Bayesian Latent Class models, the example of Jimma and Ambo Abattoirs, Ethiopia

Bovine cysticercosis is an infection of cattle musculature with the cestode parasite of humans known as Taenia saginata. This bovine cysticercosis data was collected from two Ambattoirs in Ethiopia namely Ambo and Jimma. Dissection of the predilection site, Ag-ELISA, and meat inspection were the diagnostic methods employed. Cysticerci collected during dissection of the predilection site were also confirmed using multiplex PCR.

Supporting data for: "mtGrasp: Streamlined mitochondrial genome reference-grade assembly and standardization to enhance mitogenome resources and improve the development of environmental DNA assays"

Here, we provide supporting data for the manuscript "mtGrasp: Streamlined mitochondrial genome reference-grade assembly and standardization to enhance mitogenome resources and improve the development of environmental DNA assays".

Phylogenetic_analysis.tar.gz contains the script and fasta files used for the phylogenetic analysis, and Mitogenomes.tar.gz contains the mitochondrial sequences utilized that are not publicly available in GenBank.

Lab_02_SOP - Concordant inter-laboratory derived concentrations of ceramides in human plasma reference materials via authentic standards

Lab_02_SOP - Concordant inter-laboratory derived concentrations of ceramides in human plasma reference materials via authentic standards - mzML files

This dataset is part of the ILS Ceramide Ring Trial. The suffix 'SOP' indicates that the results were obtained using the recommended and standard operating procedure protocol to prepare and measure all samples, while the suffix 'OTHER' indicates that the corresponding lab prepared and measured the samples according to their own internal protocol. Please check the corresponding mapping file 'ILS-Ceramide-Ring-Trial-Datasets.csv' in the ILS Ceramide Ring Trial record for a mapping of the originally submitted lab reports and the final lab number as reported in the manuscript.

All reports together with the code for analysis and visualization, reproducing the figures in the manuscript, are available under the following doi: https://zenodo.org/doi/10.5281/zenodo.10081970. All binary data was zlib-compressed.
