Figure 2 in Elasmobranchs from the Lower Triassic Sulphur Mountain Formation near Wapiti Lake (BC, Canada)

Figure 2. Semi-schematic drawing (a reduced number of crenulations and foramina are shown to assist with clarity) of a symphysial tooth of Wapitiodus aplopagus gen. et sp. nov. (based on the holotype specimen TMP 97.74.10) illustrating the tooth terminology used in this paper. Abbreviations: lcr, longitudinal crest (either ridge or keel running mesiodistally over the crown linking the central cusp and tooth shoulders); lcu, lateral cusplets (here tiny secondary 'cusps' flanking the main cusp); cre, crenulations (vertical ridges on the surface of the crown); lap/lip, labial/ lingual peg (a bulbous projection on the base of either the labial or lingual side of the cusp of the crown).

Raw videos of the empirical observations performed studying large shoals of sulphur mollies (P. sulphuraria).

Data acquired between April 6th and April 11th 2018 in Teapa, Tabasco, Mexico. These dataset was obtained for the study of the spontaneous wave activity observed in large shoals of sulphur mollies. Details on the analysis can be found in DOI: XX.XXXX/XXX (currently under review).

The file called data_ALL_clusters.csv contains four columns with the following information:

cluster ID

cluster area

cluster volume

cluster time duration

cluster speed

The h5 files contain the same information separated by acquisition day. In these h5 files, the areas, volumes and times are given in number of pixels and/or number of frames. Thus, they have to be re-scaled with the scaling factor dx=0.02 and dt=1/50.

Global leaf sulphur stoichiometry and the relationships with nitrogen and phosphorus: phylogeny, growth form and environmental controls

Sulphur (S) is an essential bioelement with vital roles in serving regulatory and catalytic functions, and tightly coupled with N and P in plants. However, globally stoichiometric patterns of leaf S and its relationships to leaf N and P are less well studied. We compiled 31,939 records of leaf-based data for 2,600 plant species across 6,652 sites worldwide. All plant species were divided into different phylogenetic taxa and growth forms. Standard major axis analysis was employed to fit the bivariate element relationships. A phylogenetic linear mixed effect model and a multiple regression model were used to partition the variations of bioelements into phylogeny and environments, and then to estimate the importance of environmental variables. Global geometric mean leaf S, N and P concentrations were 1.44, 15.70 and 1.27 mg g-1, with significant differences among plant groups. Leaf S-N-P positively correlated to each other, ignoring plant groups. The scaling exponents of LN-LS, LP-LS and LN-LP were 0.64, 0.76 and 0.79 for all species, but differed among plant groups. Both phylogeny and environments regulated the bioelements. The variability, rather than mean temperature controlled the bioelements. Phylogeny explained more for the concentrations of all the three bioelements than environments, of which S was the one most affected by phylogenetic taxa.

Crystal structure of the LRR ectodomain from the plant immune receptor kinase SOBIR1 from Arabidopsis thaliana - sulphur SAD datasets

This dataset includes the raw X-ray diffraction images collected on 06.11.2017 at beam line PXIII of the Swiss Light Source (SLS) Villigen, Switzerland. The archive native_images.tar contains a native dataset to 1.75 Å resolution (λ=1.033201 Å, 1 360° wedge at 0.1° oscillation). The archive ssad_images.tar contains redundant sulphur single-wavelength anomalous dispersion (SAD) data (λ= 2.078524 Å, 3 360° wedges at 0.1° oscillation) to 3.12 Å resolution. The xds_nat_ssad.tar.bz2 includes a .bz2 archive of the XDS processing for native and sulphur SAD data. Data were scaled together in xscale, the resulting xscale.hkl and nat1.hkl contain the integrated intensities and crystallographic structure factors. The corresponding coordinates have been deposited with the Protein Data Bank (http://rcsb.org) with ID 6R1H.
