LIMS/Nimbus-7 Level 2 Vertical Profiles of O3, NO2, H2O, HNO3, Geopotential Height, and Temperature V006 (LIMSN7L2) at GES DISC

The Limb Infrared Monitor of the Stratosphere (LIMS) version 6 Level-2 data product consists of daily, geolocated, vertical profiles of temperature, geopotential height, and mixing ratios of ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), water vapor (H2O), and nitric acid (HNO3). Version 6 LIMS data have improved spatial resolution in both the vertical and along the orbital track, as well as improved accuracy and precision of measured geophysical parameters. The data files are in an ASCII text format and each data file is accompanied by three data screening files. The LIMS instrument was launched on the Nimbus-7 satellite and was operational from 25 October 1978 until May 28, 1979. These data supersede the previous version 5 product, known as the LIMS Inverted Profile Archival Tape (LAIPAT).

<p>Alexithymia, suicide ideation, affective<br> temperaments and homocysteine levels in drug<br> na&iuml;ve patients with post-traumatic stress disorder:<br> an exploratory study in the everyday &lsquo;real world&rsquo;<br> clinical practice</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Objective: The present exploratory study aimed to investigate relationships between alexithymia, suicide<br> ideation, affective temperaments and homocysteine levels among drug-na&iuml;ve adult outpatients with Post-<br> Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in an everyday &lsquo;real world&rsquo; clinical setting.<br> Method: Sixty-four adult outpatients with PTSD were evaluated using the Davidson Trauma Scale (DTS),<br> the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS&ndash;20), the Scale of Suicide Ideation (SSI), the Temperament Evaluation<br> of the Memphis, Pisa, Paris and San Diego-Autoquestionnaire. As well, homocysteine levels were<br> measured.<br> Results: Alexithymic subjects showed higher values on all scales but not homocysteine levels. Partial correlations<br> showed that almost all studied variables were correlated with each other, except homocysteine<br> levels. Regression analysis showed that higher disorder severity as measured by DTS and TAS-20<br> &lsquo;Difficulty in Identifying Feelings&rsquo; dimension was associated with higher SSI scores.<br> Conclusions: In conclusion, alexithymic PTSD outpatients may be characterised by higher disorder severity<br> and difficulty in identifying feelings that may be linked to increased suicide ideation, regardless of<br> affective temperaments or homocysteine levels. Homocysteine levels were not related to any studied variable.<br> However, study limitations are discussed and must be considered.</p>

Exclusive breastfeeding and maternal postnatal anxiety contributed to infants' temperament issues at 6 months of age

<p>This database includes the raw data linked with the paper &ldquo;Exclusive breastfeeding and maternal postnatal anxiety contributed to infants&#39; temperament issues at 6 months of age&rdquo;. This publication is part of the longitudinal project &ldquo;Measuring the outcomes of maternal COVID-19-related prenatal exposure (MOM-COPE)&rdquo; research project. In this paper we report on longitudinal data on the effect of exclusive breastfeeding and postnatal maternal anxiety on infant&rsquo;s temperament at six months.</p> <p><strong>Procedures</strong></p> <p>At childbirth and after 6 months, mothers reported on whether they were using exclusive breastfeeding, maternal milk from a bottle, formula or mixed feeding methods. At birth, the mothers also filled in the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (Spielberger, 1983). After their infants reached 6 months (T1), they filled in the Infant Behavior Questionnaire- Revised short-form (Gartstein &amp; Rothbart, 2003).</p> <p><strong>Findings in brief</strong></p> <p>Exclusively breastfed infants exhibited higher levels of negative emotionality and lower regulatory capacity than the other group, with no significant differences for surgency. From the hierarchical regressions, a significant model was obtained for regulatory capacity. Significant main effects and an interaction effect emerged for exclusive breastfeeding and for postnatal maternal anxiety. The post hoc investigation revealed a significant negative association between postnatal maternal anxiety and infants&#39; regulatory capacity in the exclusive breastfeeding group, compared with the other group.</p>

Stability of maternal postnatal bonding between 3 and 6 months: associations with maternal mental health and infant temperament

<p>This database includes the raw data linked with the paper &ldquo;Stability of maternal postnatal bonding between 3 and 6 months: Associations with maternal mental health and infant temperament&rdquo;, published on Infant Behavior and Development Journal, doi: 10.1016/j.infbeh.2023.101826. This publication is part of the longitudinal project &ldquo;Measuring the outcomes of maternal COVID-19-related prenatal exposure (MOM-COPE)&rdquo; research project. In this paper we report on longitudinal data on the link between maternal mental health, infant temperament, and maternal postnatal bonding between 3-6 months of the infant life.</p> <p><strong>Procedures:</strong> When the infants were 3 and 6 months old, the mothers filled in the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II: Beck et al., 1996); the state anxiety scale of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-Y: Spielberger, 1983), the Infant Behavior Questionnaire - Revised short-form (IBQ-R: Gartstein &amp; Rothbart, 2003) and the Maternal Postnatal Attachment Scale (MPAS: Condon &amp; Corkindale, 1998).</p> <p><strong>Analytical plan:</strong> For the 3-month and 6-month measures linear regressions were fitted to assess the effect of concurrent maternal mental health and infant temperament dimensions (surgency, negativity and regulation) on maternal postnatal bonding. 3-to-6 months changes in bonding were assessed via repeated measures ANOVA. At the individual level, 3 groups were created: mothers that reported decreasing, increasing and stable bonding. ANOVA was used to test for differences in 3-to-6 months changes in maternal mental health and infant temperament between these groups.</p> <p><strong>Findings in brief:</strong> At 3 months, higher levels of maternal bonding were predicted by lower levels of anxiety and depression in the mothers and by higher infants&#39; regulation scores. At 6 months, lower levels of anxiety and depression predicted higher levels of bonding. No statistically significant differences emerged between 3- and 6-month bonding scores in the whole sample. However, mothers showing higher than 1 SD from sample mean decreases in bonding showed higher 3-to-6-month increases in depression and anxiety compared to the stable group, as well as increased difficulties in regulation dimensions of the infant&#39;s temperament compared to the other groups</p>
