High-frequency sensor data collected by Stroud Water Research Center in a recovery reach of White Clay Creek site ID WCC017 from April through December 2018
High-frequency sensor data at 5-min intervals using a s::can®oxy::lizer IITM and Solinst level logger, an Apogee SQ-212 sensor, and an s::can® field spectrophotometer in a recovery reach at White Clay Creek from April through December 2018. These data were collected as part of a study focused on baseflow dynamics of DOC and nitrate in White Clay Creek, Stroud Water Research Center. The parameters in this data package are water temperature, dissolved oxygen, depth, Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR), dissolved oxygen concentration, dissolved organic carbon concentration (DOC) and nitrate concentration. Data are presented in two tables. All the parameters and table are further explained in the metadata.
Dissolved oxygen and pH data collected in shallow riparian ponds from June - September 2013 for a study on hypoxia and hyperoxia.
Dissolved Oxygen and pH data collected using YSI sondes in shallow riparian ponds over three 72 hour periods in June, July, and September focused on patches of dominant vegetation within this pond. The differences in data represent the impact of these dominant vegetation patches on the oxygen dynamics and metabolism of the aquatic system. Data was collected either hourly or in five minute increments over the three study periods which were intended to capture spring (June), summer (July), and fall (September) conditions in the pond. The pond did experience successive states of pond vegetation over the seasons so some macrophytes are not represented in all seasons. Data also includes summary information taken from the primary oxygen data showing hours of hypoxia or hyperoxia or basicity in the various vegetation treatments.
Abiotic and biotic data collected from Spadra and Greenbriar Creeks in Clarksville, Arkansas in spring, 2024.
University of the Ozarks stream ecology students collected biotic (macroinvertebrate and fish community) and abiotic (temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, discharge) data in the spring 2024 semester. Macroinvertebrate data was collected using kick nets, D-nets, and visual inspection, and fish were collected using seine nets. Temperature is being logged in perpetuity with a HOBO, MX2201 data logger, and pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen were recorded using a YSI Quatro handheld multiparameter probe. River discharge was calculated manually using the surface float method, and a qualitative habitat assessment was conducted. This data package is a long-term, temporal, student-led data generation effort designed to be shared with the freshwater community.
High-frequency sensor turbidity data collected by Stroud Water Research Center in a meadow reach of White Clay Creek site ID WCC017 from January 2014 through May 2021
High-frequency sensor data from a Campbell Scientific OSB3 (every 5-minutes) in a recovery reach at White Clay Creek from January 2014 through May 2021. Funded by NSF and DEB as part of the LTREB grant to study the recovery of stream ecosystem structure and function during reforestation, Stroud Water Research Center. The parameter in this data package is turbidity. Data are presented in two tables which likely have significant overlap. The raw data table presents the data exactly as it was downloaded from the Aquarius Database. It is formatted as a "wide" human-readable table. Turbidity at White Clay Creek Site WCC017 since 2014 OSB3 presents only the data from the respective sensors. These tables are gap filled for intervals greater than 10 minutes and less than 24 hours, formatted as a "wide" human-readable table. All of the parameters and table are further explained in the metadata.

Weekly growth of plant species of three growth forms were measured in the ninth year of a long-term experiment at Toolik Field Station. The experimental treatments excluded small and large mammalian herbivores and increased soil nutrients in two arctic Alaskan tundra communities: moist acidic tussock and dry heath.
