Supporting publication for 'Prevalence sample-based guidance for reporting 2023 data'
<p>The record is aimed at helping the reporting countries to submit their 2023 sample-based level data to the EFSA Data Collection Framework. We include here two excel files and one XML file, and we give below specific information on their use.</p> <p>The two Excel documents help in mapping terms from the matrix catalogue ZOO_CAT_MATRIX used in the aggregated prevalence data model to FoodEx2 codes, and offer examples on how prevalence data can be reported using SSD2 and how data are aggregated afterwards. The XML file is the same example as in the Excel file with similar title but in the XML format that allows for it be uploaded in the Data Collection Framework.</p>

Compiled call report data for: Financial intermediation, capital accumulation and crisis recovery
<p>We integrate bank and bond financing into a two-sector neoclassical growth model and identify an automatic stabilization effect due to endogenous bank leverage adjustment. We show that although bank leverage amplifies shocks, the increase of leverage due to a decline in bank equity partially offsets the post-crisis decline of bank lending and accelerates economic recovery by reducing the persistence of the bank lending channel. In this case, endogenous leverage adjustment is an automatic stabilizer. Regulatory state-independent capital limits and wage rigidities impair the re-allocation of capital between sectors and weaken this automatic stabilization. A quantitative analysis of the US during the Great Recession shows that the magnitude of automatic stabilization can be significant and informs about potentially high costs of strict capital regulation or wage rigidities during banking crises.</p>

Figure 1 Map of Tanintharyi Region, Myanmar. The Tanintharyi Nature Reserve, north of Dawei, and the Lampi National Park, island northwest of Kawthoung, are officially designated as national parks in Myanmar. The other areas in Myanmar are proposed as national parks (Protected Areas) or being considered for future protection (Reserve Forests). The main survey reported here was conducted in the Yeybu area of the proposed Tanintharyi National Park (triangles: Forest 1–2 and Gardens sites). A shorter survey, with fewer people, was conducted in the Reserve Forest near the Chaung-nauk-pyan area (diamonds: Forest 3 and slash & burnt sites) and is also included in this report.
