FIGURE 19. Phylogram based on an alignment of mitochondrial COI sequences for similis-like species of Daphnia (Ctenodaphnia) and their congeners. The tree is outgroup rooted with the exilis group (including formally undescribed American D. cf. "similis") and based on the best ML tree. Support values are from approximate likelihood ratio test, the scale bar represents substitutions per site based on a GTR+G model. Sequences publicly available from previous studies are indicated by GenBank accession numbers; all accession numbers are provided in Table 1.
