<p>Paper <em>A dependent Bayesian Dirichlet Process model for source apportionment of particle number size distribution</em> contributed to the <em>Environmetrics</em> Special Issue on <em>Environmental Data Science</em>. In this paper, a fairly extensive Bayesian model is run using the <em>Nimble</em> probabilistic programming language. To allow for user reproducibility, the output of this model (full, not summary), is provided here.</p>

<p>This repository contains replication data for Carleton et al. (Quarterly Journal of Economics, 2022), "Valuing the mortality consequences of climate change accounting for adaptation costs and benefits". All non-confidential data inputs are included, as well as intermediate data outputs, final data outputs, and final tables and figures for all main text and supplementary tables and figures. Some input data are confidential (e.g., mortality records in some countries); therefore, intermediate regression results files are included in the upload to ensure all later stages of the analysis are fully replicable. Data from journal article "Amplifying effects of recurrent drought on the dynamics of tree growth and water use in a subalpine forest"
<p>This dataset contains all data used in the above mentioned publication (DOI: tba). The data was obtained in a field drought experiment in a subalpine forest in the Austrian Central Alps, where adult trees were exposed to either ambient conditions or recurrent summer drought. The experiment was conducted from 2016-2018. All data were measured on individual tree level. All dataset contains the following, pre-processed data (processed as described in the corresponding journal article):<br> - Micrometeorological data<br> - Dendrometer data<br> - Tree ring data<br> - Sapflow data<br> - Stem electrical resistivity data<br> - Non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) and soluble sugar carbon isotopic composition (d13C) data</p> <p>The metadata.xlsx file contains all metadata, including units and descriptions of the variables.</p>

An analysis of the current overlay journals
<p>Research data to accommodate the article "Overlay journals: a study of the current landscape" (https://doi.org/10.1177/09610006221125208)</p> <p>Identifying the sample of overlay journals was an explorative process (occurring during April 2021 to February 2022). The sample of investigated overlay journals were identified by using the websites of Episciences.org (2021), Scholastica (2021), Free Journal Network (2021), Open Journals (2021), PubPub (2022), and Wikipedia (2021). In total, this study identified 34 overlay journals. Please see the paper for more details about the excluded journal types.</p> <p>The journal ISSN numbers, manuscript source repositories, first overlay volumes, article volumes, publication languages, peer-review type, licence for published articles, author costs, publisher types, submission policy, and preprint availability policy were observed by inspecting journal editorial policies and submission guidelines found from journal websites. The overlay journals’ ISSN numbers were identified by examining journal websites and cross-checking this information with the Ulrich’s periodicals database (Ulrichsweb, 2021). Journals that published review reports, either with reviewers’ names or anonymously, were classified as operating with open peer-review. Publisher types defined by Laakso and Björk (2013) were used to categorise the findings concerning the publishers. If the journal website did not include publisher information, the editorial board was interpreted to publish the journal.</p> <p>The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) field of science classification was used to categorise the journals into different domains of science. The journals’ primary OECD field of sciences were defined by the authors through examining the journal websites.</p> <p>Whether the journals were indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scopus, or Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science Core collection’s journal master list was examined by searching the services with journal ISSN numbers and journal titles.</p> <p>The identified overlay journals were examined from the viewpoint of both qualitative and quantitative journal metrics. The qualitative metrics comprised the Nordic expert panel rankings of scientific journals, namely the Finnish Publication Forum, the Danish Bibliometric Research Indicator and the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers. Searches were conducted from the web portals of the above services with both ISSN numbers and journal titles. Clarivate Analytics’ Journal Citation Reports database was searched with the use of both ISSN numbers and journal titles to identify whether the journals had a Journal Citation Indicator (JCI), Two-Year Impact Factor (IF) and an Impact Factor ranking (IF rank). The examined Journal Impact Factors and Impact Factor rankings were for the year 2020 (as released in 2021).</p>

Data set for the journal article: Tandem electrocatalytic CO2 reduction with Fe-porphyrins and Cu nanocubes enhances ethylene production
<p>Copper-based tandem schemes have emerged as promising strategies to promote the formation<br> of multi-carbon products of the electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction. In such approaches,<br> the CO-generating component of the tandem catalyst increases the local concentration of CO<br> and thereby enhances the intrinsic carbon-carbon (C-C) coupling on copper. However, the<br> optimal characteristics of the CO-generating catalyst for maximizing eventual C2 production<br> are currently unknown. In this work, we developed tunable tandem catalysts comprising iron<br> porphyrin (Fe-Por), as the CO-generating component, and Cu nanocubes (Cucub) to understand<br> how the turnover frequency for CO (TOFCO) of the molecular catalysts impacts C-C coupling<br> on the Cu surface. First, we tuned the TOFCO of the Fe-Por by varying the number of orbitals<br> involved in the π-system. Then, by coupling these molecular catalysts with the Cucub, we<br> assessed the current densities and faradaic efficiencies, discovering that all of the designed Fe-<br> Por boost ethylene production. The most efficient Cucub/Fe-Por tandem catalyst was the one<br> including the Fe-Por with the highest TOFCO and exhibited a nearly 22-fold increase in the<br> ethylene selectivity and 100 mV positive shift of the onset potential with respect to the pristine<br> Cucub. These results reveal that coupling the TOFCO tunability of molecular catalysts along with<br> copper nanocatalysts opens up new possibilities towards the development of Cu-based catalysts<br> with enhanced selectivity for multi-carbon product generation at low overpotential.</p>

Lamport’s algorithm</p> <p>In order to synchronize logical clocks, Lamport [3] defined the relationship “happened before” (preceded) which implies that the expression 1 2 a → a means “ 1 a occurred before 2 a ”, and it means that all the processes coincide in the fact that 1 a took place first, and subsequently 2 a took place. This relation can be directly observed in two situations (figure 2): 1. If two events happen during the same process, the order of the happening is indicated by the common clock; 2. When two processes communicate through a message, the event that corresponds to sending the precise message always happens before the event of receiving it (i.e. the message). If two events, 1 a and 2 a , are produced in different processes that do not exchange messages (neither directly nor indirectly), then it is not certain if 1 2 a → a or 2 1 a → a . In this case it is said that these events are competitive, which means that it is not known which one happened first (and it is not a must-know thing either).</p>
