Coda Calibration for Small Earthquakes near Rock Valley, Nevada
<p>This dataset was produced using the Coda Calibration Tool (Barno, 2017). It estimates moment magnitude (Mw) for small earthquakes near Rock Valley in southern Nevada. Included in the dataset are the calibration parameter file and curated waveform envelopes in SAC format for calibration and test events. The calibration parameter file (Calibration_Parameters.json) includes shape parameters and site terms for 20 stations, as well as independent Mw for 8 calibration events. Waveform envelopes for only the calibration events are found in the calibration_env folder. Waveform envelopes for test events are found in the all_env folder. A calibration should be run using only the envelopes in calibration_env since there is not validation Mw for the test events (i.e., running a calibration including the test events will affect the site terms).</p>

<p>This repository contains the scripts to reproduce the results of Guo and Wang.</p> <p>Directories had to be zipped to be downloaded. Please start by unzipping them.</p> <p>If you wish to run the scripts and reproduce the results, you will first download the PRIDE PPP-AR software (https://github.com/PrideLab/PRIDE-PPPAR) to process RINEX observation files.</p> <p>1. <p>The file Alai_GPS_timeseries.zip contents two text files with time series data for GPS observation of the Alai network for the periods from July 2016 to June 2018 and from July 2018 to June 2020. The data were used to determine the velocities of post-seismic displacements of the Earth's surface in the periods from July 2016 to June 2018 and from July 2018 to June 2020.<br> Each of the other 10 zip files ending in baselines.zip includes time series of daily values of the baselines between one Alay GPS station and Asian stations not affected by the 2015 Sarez earthquake M7.2w, for a period spanning at least 60 days before and after it . The data was used to calculate the coseismic displacements caused by this earthquake.</p>
