FIGURE 1 in A novel species of Phaeoisaria (Pleurotheciaceae, Sordariomycetes) from the Tibetan Plateau, China

FIGURE 1. The phylogenetic tree obtained from RAxML analysis with combined ITS, LSU, and SSU sequence data. Bootstrap support values for ML equal to or greater than 75% and PP for BI equal to or greater than 0.95 were indicated at the nodes. Pleurotheciella rivularia (CBS 125237) and Pl. rivularia (CBS 125238) were selected as the outgroup taxa. The new isolates are in blue, and the type species are in bold.

Retrogressive thaw slumps on the Tibetan Plateau from 1986 to 2020

The degradation of permafrost on the Tibetan Plateau (TP) exacerbates the expansion of retrogressive thaw slumps (RTSs), posing a threat to the stability of infrastructure. Based on time-series Landsat images, we used a combination of machine learning automatic classification and manual delineation to identify 3537 RTSs in the permafrost region of TP from 1986 to 2020, the data also provided detailed information on RTSs area and annual disturbance time.

Thermokarst lakes on the Tibetan Plateau from 1990 to 2022

Recent climate warming has accelerated the permafrost thaw and dynamics of thermokarst lakes (TLs) on the Tibetan Plateau. Using the global surface water product, we compiled an inventory of TLs with areas ranging from 1-300 ha, and categorized them as unchanging, expanding, emerging, shrinking and vanishing. Based on time-series remote sensing imagery, we identified the primary occurrence year of lake changes from 1990 to 2022. Also, this dataset includes information on the topographic and permafrost characteristics of TLs.
