(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a> <strong>number 572 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>572</p> <p>Fatḥnâma-i-Khûnkâr-i-Rûm (فتح نامۀ خونکار روم).</p> <p>The campaign of Sulṭân Muḥammad III (who ascended the throne of Turkey A.H. 1003, and died A.H. 1012=A.D. 1595-1604) against Hungary in A.H. 1005 (A.D. 1596, 1597), see fol. 1<sup>b</sup>, I. 3, translated according to the last words of this little tract from Turkish into Persian. No author’s or translator’s name appears anywhere. On fol. 1<sup>a</sup> the tract is styled نسخۀ فتح نامۀ روم. Beginning:</p> <p>الحمد لمن لا نصر الّا من عنده و الصلوة و السلام علی حبیبه الخ</p> <p>Quite modern handwriting, from A.H. 1217 (A.D. 1802, 1803), probably copied at Seringapatam, like the second and larger half of this MS., which is apparently written by the same transcriber.</p> <p>Bibliotheca Leydeniana.</p> <p>No. 2469, ff. 1-15, II.11; large Nasta’lîḳ; size, 8<sup>1/8</sup> in. by 6 in.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
