VG1 SAT LECP CALIBRATED RESAMPLED SECTORED 15MIN V1.0

This data set consists of resampled data from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 1 while the spacecraft was in the vicinity of Saturn. This instrument measures the intensities of in-situ charged particles (>26 keV electrons and >30 keV ions) with various levels of discrimination based on energy, mass species, and angular arrival direction. A subset of almost 100 LECP channels are included with this data set. The LECP data are globally calibrated to the extent possible (see below) and they are time averaged to about 15 minute time intervals with the exact beginning and ending times for those intervals matching the LECP instrumental cycle periods (the angular scanning periods).

GO JUPITER EPD REFORMATTED HIGH RES SECTOR V1.0

This data set contains two versions of three different data file types. One version is a corrected form of the other ('C'). The corrected data are adjusted for minute gaps in between the detector cycles. This data ranges from the Io flyby (December 1995) to end of mission. All available motor positions are provided. Step 0, which looks behind the background shield, is included for an indication of the background penetration of the detector. The rates reported are in units of (counts/sec), pitch and phase angles are in (radians). The sectors are ordered in time

VG2 SAT LECP CALIBRATED RESAMPLED SECTORED 15MIN V1.0

This browse data consists of resampled data from the Low Energy Charged Particle (LECP) experiment on Voyager 2 while the spacecraft was in the vicinity of Saturn. This instrument measures the intensities of in-situ charged particles (>26 keV electrons and >30 keV ions) with various levels of discrimination based on energy, mass species, and angular arrival direction. The LECP data are globally calibrated to the extent possible (see below) and they are time averaged to about 15 minute time intervals with the exact beginning and ending times for those intervals matching the LECP instrumental cycle periods (the angular scanning periods). The LECP instrument has a rotating head for obtaining angular anisotropy measurements of the medium energy charged particles that it measures. The cycle time for the rotation is variable, but during encounters it is always faster than 15 minutes. For this browse data set only scan average data is given (no angular information).

Data from: "Integrating variability in life cycle assessments of products, cities, and sectors"

<p>In my thesis "Integrating variability in life cycle assessments of products, cities, and sectors", I aimed to integrate sources of variability in the life cycle assessments of products, cities, and sectors. In this data repository, data underlying the findings of Chapters 2 and 5 were published.</p><p>In Chapter 2, the mitigation potential of a new chemical agent used for tire manufacturing was investigated. ZnO nanoparticles anchored on SiO2 NPs (ZnO@SiO2) is a new vulcanization activator currently being developed at the pilot scale to minimize environmental impacts by decreasing the zinc content and rolling resistance of tires. We assessed the environmental impacts of synthesizing and utilizing ZnO@SiO2 on human health, ecosystems, and resource scarcity. Prospective LCA was used to integrate temporal variability and forecast the environmental impacts of the synthesis at the industrial scale. Two industrial predictions were made based on two sets of experimental data available at TRLs 5 and 6. Explorative scenarios were used to estimate the environmental consequences of using the new activator to manufacture tires.&nbsp;</p><p>In this repository, two sets of results were reported: (1) endpoint impacts for TRLs 5, 6, 9a, and 9b, per kg of activator synthesized and (2) endpoint impacts of an average passenger car tire and a tire made with the new activator.</p><p>In Chapter 5, the GHG footprints of economic sectors were assessed. Intermediate producer bear responsibility for emissions embodied in their supply chains. Environmental accounts describing the supply chain emissions of sectors at a local level and with granular sector aggregation are urgently needed to inform relevant policy action to drive climate change mitigation efforts at the regional level in the EU. We aimed to build such a dataset for the European Union (EU) and focused on quantifying the subnational variation of sector GHG supply chain emissions. We used an environmentally extended multi-region input-output (EEMRIO) analysis to examine the GHG footprints of 63 sectors in 264 subnational regions across the EU. This approach inherently integrated the spatial variability of the GHG footprints examined. We used a top-down MRIO database with subnational European information on production, and trade structures, accounting for trade inside and outside Europe. We added a subnational environmental extension for GHG emissions from an air emission database at the NUTS 2 level.&nbsp;</p><p>In this repository, the dataset created for the study was published, including the supply chain emissions reported per sector and region.</p>

Dataset related to article "Knowledge-based DVH estimation and optimization for breast VMAT plans with and without avoidance sectors"

<p>This record contains raw data related to article "Knowledge-based DVH estimation and optimization for breast VMAT plans with and without avoidance sectors"</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Abstract</strong></p><p>Background: To analyze RapidPlan knowledge-based models for DVH estimation of organs at risk from breast cancer VMAT plans presenting arc sectors en-face to the breast with zero dose rate, feature imposed during the optimization phase (avoidance sectors AS).</p><p>Methods: CT datasets of twenty left breast patients in deep-inspiration breath-hold were selected. Two VMAT plans, PartArc and AvoidArc, were manually generated with double arcs from ~ 300 to ~ 160°, with the second having an AS en-face to the breast to avoid contralateral breast and lung direct irradiation. Two RapidPlan models were generated from the two plan sets. The two models were evaluated in a closed loop to assess the model performance on plans where the AS were selected or not in the optimization.</p><p>Results: The PartArc plans model estimated DVHs comparable with the original plans. The AvoidArc plans model estimated a DVH pattern with two steps for the contralateral structures when the plan does not contain the AS selected in the optimization phase. This feature produced mean doses of the contralateral breast, averaged over all patients, of 0.4 ± 0.1 Gy, 0.6 ± 0.2 Gy, and 1.1 ± 0.2 Gy for the AvoidArc plan, AvoidArc model estimation, RapidPlan generated plan, respectively. The same figures for the contralateral lung were 0.3 ± 0.1 Gy, 1.6 ± 0.6 Gy, and 1.2 ± 0.5 Gy. The reason was found in the possible incorrect information extracted from the model training plans due to the lack of knowledge about the AS. Conversely, in the case of plans with AS set in the optimization generated with the same AvoidArc model, the estimated and resulting DVHs were comparable. Whenever the AvoidArc model was used to generate DVH estimation for a plan with AS, while the optimization was made on the plan without the AS, the optimizer evidentiated the limitation of a minimum dose rate of 0.2 MU/°, resulting in an increased dose to the contralateral structures respect to the estimation.</p><p>Conclusions: The RapidPlan models for breast planning with VMAT can properly estimate organ at risk DVH. Attention has to be paid to the plan selection and usage for model training in the presence of avoidance sectors.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
