Whitelaw Hill, Ring and Cup Marked Stone

I found this stone in East Lothian, Scotland at the side of a field where it had been left after having been ploughed up 20 years ago. The 3D Model was produced by Dr Tertia Barnett for Scottish Rock Art Project. The markings were produced around 4000 years ago. This is a rare find in East Lothian of a neolithic cup and ring marked stone. It has been reported as Treasure Trove and hopefully will end up in a museum. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Cup Marked Rock - Algarve, Portugal

This was found on an outcrop near the Necropole da Pedreirinha rock-cut tombs near Vale Fuzeiros, Algarve, Portugal. The two tombs are of Visigoth age (C5-6th) but the cup marks are likely to be far older & possibly contemporary with the nearby standing stone alignment, Os Menhirs dos Vilarinhos. There is one prominent larger bowl-like cup mark and a second one on the topmost lip of the rock. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
