Data sets d15 to ds16 (ADCP data collected in May 25, 2015 and July 19, 2017)</p> <p><strong>Introduction </strong></p> <p>This package contains the input parameters used in each of the precursor (S01 - S04) and main runs (S05 - S12) presented in the manuscript “Increased mixing and turbulence in the wake of offshore wind farm foundations”. These input files are found in the PDF file "S01_S12".</p> <p>The main runs, in which the wake of a monopile was simulated (S05, S07, S09, S11), require a topography file, which is a NETCDF-file that has been uploaded separately (S13). All simulations were run using the Parallelized Large-Eddy Simulation Model for atmospheric and oceanic flows (PALM, version 4.0, revision 2504).</p> <p>Further, this package contains the data sets collected using the towed chain in 2015 (ds01-ds06, ds15) and 2017 (ds07-ds14, ds16), which have been uploaded as separate NETCDF-files.</p>

SensoDat: Simulation-based Sensor Dataset of Self-driving Cars
<h1>GitHub: <a href="https://github.com/christianbirchler-org/sensodat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://github.com/christianbirchler-org/sensodat</a></h1> <p>Developing tools in the context of autonomous systems, such as self-driving cars (SDCs), is time-consuming and costly since researchers and practitioners rely on expensive computing hardware and simulation software. We propose SensoDat, a dataset of 32,580 executed simulation-based SDC test cases generated with state-of-the-art test generators for SDCs. The dataset consists of trajectory logs and a variety of sensor data from the SDCs (e.g., rpm, wheel speed, brake thermals, transmission, etc.) represented as a time series. In total, SensoDat provides data from 81 different simulated sensors. Future research in the domain of SDCs does not necessarily depend on executing expensive test cases when using SensoDat. Furthermore, with the high amount and variety of sensor data, we think SensoDat can contribute to research, particularly for AI development, regression testing techniques for simulation-based SDC testing, flakiness in simulation, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p></p>

<p>The "out<i>EXP02.nc" and "out</i>EXP11.rar" are two examples of 11 simulations' output file in the article, in each of the file, 9 variables (horizontal wind u, horizontal wind v, vertical speed, height, temperature, pressure, precipitation, longitude and latitude) from outputs of simulation are included, the time interval is 2 hours.</p><p>The MERRA-2 dataset provides the initial and boundary conditions of chemical fields in simulations.</p><p>The era5 dataset provides the meteorological initial and boundary conditions in simulations.</p><p> </p>

Weather dataset (Typical Downscaled Year, Extreme Cold Year, Extreme Warm Year) for building energy simulations (.epw format) in future climate (2069-2098, RCP 8.5), Antwerp Berchem, Belgium
<p>Typical Downscaled Year (TDY), Extreme Cold Year and Extreme Warm Year based on the methodology of Nik (2016), is extracted for the location of Antwerp Berchem (51°12'00"N 4°26'24" E) from the EC-Earth driven convection-permitting climate model COSMO-CLM for the Belgian domain extended with land-surface scheme TERRA_URB(v2.0) making use of the SURY (Semi-empirical URban canopY) parameterization ( Wouters et al. 2016). The integrations are identical to the ones which are described in Vanden Broucke et al. (2019). The climate model has a spatial resolution of 2.8 km and an hourly temporal resolution and is available for the recent past (1976-2004) and future (2070-2098, RCP 8.5 climate change scenario) as 30-year datasets. For this dataset, the TDY, ECY, and EWY are extracted for the future period. A bias correction is applied for the following variables: temperature (as described in Ramon et al. 2020), solar radiation and relative humidity as described in Ramon et al. (202X).</p>
