Saraga: research datasets of Indian Art Music
<p><strong>Dataset introduction</strong></p> <p>This repository contains time aligned melody, rhythm, and structural annotations for two large open corpora of Indian Art Music (Carnatic and Hindustani music).</p> <p>The repository contains Carnatic and Hindustani collections in separated zip files, and each collection is organized by songs grouped by artist concerts/live performances. This organization follows the structure generated by downloading the data using the scripts available at the dataset Github repository: <a href="https://github.com/MTG/saraga">https://github.com/MTG/saraga</a>.</p> <p>Moreover, there is a part of the Carnatic collection, 168 tracks to be specific, that counts with multitrack audio files apart from the mix audio. The considered instruments are: Ghatam, Mridangam, Violin, Voice and Secondary Voice.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Annotations in the dataset</strong></p> <p>Section and tempo annotations stored as start and end timestamps together with the name of the section and tempo during the section (in a separate file). Sama annotations referring to rhythmic cycle boundaries stored as timestamps. Phrase annotations stored as timestamps and transcription of the phrases using solfège symbols ({S, r, R, g, G, m, M, P, d, D, n, N}). Audio features automatically extracted and stored: pitch and tonic.</p> <p>For more information about the dataset tracks and annotations, please refer to the Saraga website: <a href="https://mtg.github.io/saraga/">https://mtg.github.io/saraga/</a></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Using this dataset</strong></p> <p>We are interested in knowing if you find our datasets useful! If you use our dataset please email us at <a href="mailto:mtg-info@upf.edu">mtg-info@upf.edu</a> and tell us about your research.</p> <p>*Please note that you can also use this dataset through the MIRDATA library (<a href="https://github.com/mir-dataset-loaders/mirdata">https://github.com/mir-dataset-loaders/mirdata</a>), where this dataset is in the list of available datasets.</p>

The Great Gallery Rock Art Panel, UT-DStretch
Image enhancement was created through ImageJ, using YBK Decorrelation Stretch (http://www.dstretch.com/) plugin developed by Jon Harman. Located along the cliffs of Horseshoe Canyon lies the Great Gallery, a spectacular rock art panel which is considered to be one of the "type" sites for the Barrier Canyon Style. This beautiful rock art can be seen at Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Images were taken from a distance, using a Canon 6D with a 105mm during a hike in November, 2016. Wat Ratchaburana,The Second Chamber Arts
Photogrammetry Technique of Wat Ratchaburana, Ayutthaya Historical Park was built following Khmer design concepts. Its design resembles the early mountain temples of Angkor. The monastery faces East, the direction of the rising sun. The mid storeroom which used to be three golden trays filled with the goldwares. The Department of Fine Arts removed the floor of this section resulted in the connection between the second and the third chambers. This room features the mural painting of the former Buddhas inside the squared lots, the bronze tables set around the room inside the arched frames excepted the south wall. Assumingly, the tables were stood for the goldwares and golden textile which mentioned by the thieves they turned to dust just only touch. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Neolithic Rock Art from Nubia
Neolithic rock art panels rescued from behind the Aswan High Dam during the UNESCO Nubian Rescue campaigns . Currently in the Nubian Museum Aswan. Panel are not shown to scale in relation to each other, but have been generally made the same size since the scale was not recorded at the time of capture. Each panel created from 20-37 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.6.1. Panels combined using Blender3D 2.8 Photographed in January 2020. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Drumtroddan Neolithic Rock Art, panel 3
**Drumtroddan Rock Art panel 3, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland** This Neolithic cup mark with five rings is one of four visible panels located within the immediate area (the SE HES Property in Care area). Two other groups of motifs are present on rock outcrops on top of this hill, one in the same field and another just over a wall on the edge of a small wood.
