The Great Gallery Rock Art Panel, Utah
Located along the cliffs of Horseshoe Canyon lies the Great Gallery, a spectacular rock art panel which is considered one of the "type" sites for the Barrier Canyon Style. This beautiful rock art can be seen at Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Images were taken from a distance, using a Canon 6D with a 105mm during a hike in November, 2016. **Drumtroddan Rock Art panel 1, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland** This Neolithic cup mark with five rings is one of four visible panels located within the immediate area (the SE HES Property in Care area). Two other groups of motifs are present on rock outcrops on top of this hill, one in the same field and another just over a wall on the edge of a small wood. Architectural Detail - Art Deco Soldier
This small statuette sits at the base of a massive light fixture. It's part of six statues, each representing the several soveriegn nations that claimed ownership over the state of Texas. You can see this yourself at the Hall of State in Fair Park, Dallas TX. I'll add more as I get to them. My goal is to reconstruct the entire fixture in 3D using these partial scans. Singing stones and Guanche rock art, Tenerife
Roque del Malpaso near Buzanada, Arona, Tenerife. This model shows a Guanche rock art panel (c.2m across) that is surrounded by singing stones. The volcanic rock has phonic properties and rings loudly when struck with a hammerstone. There are dozens of points on different rocks that have been struck and each location gives a different sound.
