We created this dataset from the experiments conducted in water lab of TU Delft (Stevinweg 1, Delft, Netherlands). The experiment details can be found in the publication. This dataset includes microscope images and mask annotations, that shows the shape and location of free particles and entrapped particles in images.</p> <p>The images are stored in the&nbsp;<em>images.zip</em> file, the annotations are stored in the <em>labels_txt.zip</em> file, and the classes of the annotation (i.e., entrap particle and free particle) is stored in the <em>classes.txt</em> file.</p> <p>The filenames of images and annotations includes three parts: Sampling time (the first part), the diameter of biomass (the middle part), and image number (the last part). <p>Here are the underlying data and codes for Figure 7.2 of the IPCC-IPBES report (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4659158)<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>We decide to represent only the recognized links (positive and negative) in Figure 7.2. The table1 file represents these relationships. If you decide to represent the non-recognized interactions (gray), you should use the table2 file and re-divide it in the code.</p> <p>The code produces the Sankey diagram, which was used to produce Figure 7.2. The order of the nodes was organized manually to represent better the Chapter 7 discussion. After that, you can export the figure and work in an external program.</p> <p>The final figure was produced using PowerPoint and with labels and icons inserted manually.&nbsp;</p>

IPBES Ontology

<p><span>The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) is the intergovernmental body which assesses the state of biodiversity and of the ecosystem services it provides to society, in response to requests from decision makers. To this end, it produces regular regional, national and global assessment reports in collaborations with many experts, scientists and politicians from a wide range of expertise, nationalities and backgrounds. To our knowledge, there is no existing ontology for representation of intergovernmental reports and the broad topics and information that they cover. To this end, we have created the IPBES ontology as the stepping stone for representing these types of data as LOD and make them accessible for further exploration.</span></p>

IPBES Invasive Alien Species Assessment: Chapter 2. Figures, tables, captions and data management reports

<p>This folder contains the figures and tables included in Chapter 2 of the IPBES Invasive Alien Species and their Control Assessment Report. Each figure is provided in pdf and svg format. In addition, the R scripts and the data sets required to generate the figures are provided as well.</p><p>The figures and tables showing information about alien species numbers or distributions are all based on two data sets, which are stored on Zenodo folders. One data set contains the records of alien species per region worldwide (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7554428) and the workflow including R scripts have been published (https://doi.org/10.3897/neobiota.59.53578). This data set is called the 'chapter database'. Version 2.4.1 of this data set was used to extract the numbers shown in figures and tables of this chapter.&nbsp; The second data set (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6458083) contains coordinates of alien species occurrences worldwide and the workflow including R scripts have also been published elsewhere (https://doi.org/10.3897/neobiota.74.81082). Version 1.0.1 of this data set was used here.</p><p>The folder also contains the data management reports for the generation of the chapter database and figures.</p>
