Use of artificial intelligence techniques for the recognition of human emotions: a bibliometric analysis

Human emotion recognition with AI uses physiological, audiovisual, and linguistic signals. Despite its importance and great progress in emotion recognition, several challenges remain in generalization and evaluation through standards and shared data, as well as other research gaps. Therefore, the objective is to analyze the scientific production on the use of artificial intelligence techniques for the recognition of human emotions. This study uses bibliometric analysis following the guidelines of the PRISMA-2020 statement for literature reviews. Based on the results of the bibliometrics on the use of artificial intelligence techniques in for the recognition of human emotions, significant conclusions are obtained that improve the understanding of the current panorama in this field of research. A growing interest in the subject is observed during the years 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, which demonstrates the relevance and potential of artificial intelligence in the recognition of human emotions. A cubic polynomial growth in the number of scientific articles is observed, demonstrating a constant expansion of knowledge and support for future trends. Leading authors and journals are identified, highlighting global collaboration in China and India. The thematic evolution shows maturity and progressive specialization, with emerging concepts that promise future research and innovative applications.

Evolutionary Overview of Surface Wave Method Based on Bibliometric Analysis: Past, Current and Future

The surface wave method has been a cornerstone in seismic imaging and monitoring across diverse scenarios for the past 70 years. We offers an objective snapshot of the current landscape in surface wave method research through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. Utilizing both bibliographic and structured network analysis techniques, including Biblioshiny and VOSviewer applications, we meticulously examine the literature spanning from 1952 to 2024, sourced from the Web of Science Core Collection database. This work has been submitted to "SCIENCE CHINA earth science" for peer review ( Guan et al., 2024 ).

The package includes the datasets utilized for bibliometric analysis in the submitted manuscript. It includes a text file named "Refined_TabDelimited_Data.txt" for VOSviewer software and a spreadsheet "Refined_Bibliometrix_Data.xlsx" for Biblioshiny application.

Urban Air Pollution and Child Neurodevelopmental Conditions: A Systematic Bibliometric Review

The dataset for this research was compiled through an advanced PubMed search targeting publications from a one-year period, with keywords focused on air pollution, neurodevelopment, and associated disorders. From an initial pool of 450 publications, filtering based on the co-occurrence of relevant keywords reduced this to approximately 44 papers. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to generate a visual map of relationships between air pollution and child neurodevelopment. To ensure consistency, a thesaurus was applied to standardize terminology, refining the final network for a detailed examination of keyword clusters and their interactions. For those seeking to replicate this process, Appendix A provides an in-depth, step-by-step methodology for building the networks and utilizing the data files to recreate the visualizations.

Bibliometric analysis of research trends in aquafeed formulation

A bibliographic comparison could be conducted between the two considered time periods, 2010-2019 and 2020-2025, to explore how research priorities and trends might have evolved. The earlier period would provide a foundation of historical developments, while the more recent one could focus on current trends and innovations. This analysis could reveal shifts in scientific and industrial priorities, offering insights into how emerging challenges and opportunities might be influencing the aquaculture field. The findings would provide valuable perspectives on the direction of research, particularly regarding sustainability and efficiency in aquaculture. Such analyses, based on database resources, could be applied to track trends, identify gaps, and guide future research directions.
