<p>This dataset comprises a collection of journalistic articles written by young university students in Colombia, which is a product of the project: Analytical Center of University Cultural Productions in the Context of the Conflict (caPAZ), funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Minciencias) and the National Center for Historical Memory (CNM) of Colombia (under the code: 1349-872-76354, agreement 872 of 2020) This corpus includes news written by the 24 colleges media of the Colombian Network of College Journalism from 2012 to 2016. The dataset includes digital&nbsp;news, for a total of <strong>589&nbsp;</strong>news items related to the armed conflict, the memory of the victims and the peace process in Colombia.&nbsp;These news items were collected through a web-scraping technique, using 3 lemmatized keywords (conflicto armado, memoria de las v&iacute;ctimas y proceso de paz), with the aim of identifying these regular expressions in the logical operators that run through the HTML structure of each Web page</p>

Documentary practices and uses in rural context of north-western Iberia

<p>Abstract, slides, datasets, and draft transcript of the presentation given at the XXIIe Colloque de pal&eacute;ographie latine, Prague (14-16 September).</p> <p><strong>Brief abstract: </strong></p> <p>Our proposal intends to examine the documentary practices and uses found in the context of rural, secular communities in the north-western Iberian Peninsula from the late eleventh to the thirteen centuries. These practices will be considered in contrast with those from urban, mostly ecclesiastical, communities. We will assess the form and function of secular diplomas made by rural scribes, before considering the graphic systems and styles used in communities of professional scribes with different levels of literacy. Finally, the mobility of practices and their authors will be evaluated, taking the parish church and the rural monastery as meeting points.</p> <p>Ultimately, this will provide a clearer picture of the connections between rural and urban scribes and their communities, mutual exchanges, reception of new palaeographical and codicological developments and cultural interaction. This innovative assessment of the evolution of documentary practices in north-western Iberia will lead to a better understanding of writing practices across all levels of society.</p> <p><strong>Proposal:</strong></p> <p>Within the context of the transition from Visigothic to Caroline minuscule from the end of the eleventh century until well into the twelfth century in north-western Iberia, and alongside the progressive increase in the use of Romance that will result in the emergence of vernacular languages by the thirteenth century, our proposal intends to address documentary practices and uses in the context of secular rural communities in contrast with those communities culturally located at the centre of change and which are mostly ecclesiastical. With that end in mind, this paper combines three of the perspectives proposed for this congress. We will depart from the analysis of the form and function of secular diplomas made by scribes from rural contexts, before considering the graphic systems and styles used in communities of professional scribes with different levels of literacy. Finally, we will assess the mobility of practices and their authors, taking the parish church and the rural monastery as meeting points.</p> <p>Form and function: We will examine the interaction between the visual and material aspects typical of framed charters, their production and content, in the context of rural secular communities (what distinguishes the secular documentary corpus in terms of its materiality and use?) and in opposition to the charters associated with central ecclesiastical communities. A comparison will be made between the processes of documentary creation in both environments, their raison d&rsquo;&ecirc;tre and usefulness, and the effect on the resulting product as a material object to be read but also seen.</p> <p>The scripts and styles of writing communities: We will study the graphic typologies and documentary practices of professional scribes working for central ecclesiastical institutions (cathedrals and monasteries) in contrast to those in centres of a lower cultural level (rural parishes and minor monasteries), examining their possible interaction with regards to the process of absorption and internalization of new palaeographic and diplomatic developments. In this sense, we propose to delve into the life and development of graphic activity of ecclesiastical and lay agents with limited literacy and to evaluate their role in the configuration of identities.</p> <p>Individual mobility and encounters: The scope of action of the rural scribes will be evaluated alongside their relationship with the secular communities they served. Similarly, we will consider their role as integrating agents as well as their possible itinerancy within (certainly) parochial and, possibly, monastic contexts.</p> <p>As a result of the study of these three perspectives, we will provide a clearer picture of the encounters in the written culture between rural and central scribes and their respective communities, pondering mutual exchanges, reception of new developments and how cultural interaction could affect the evolution of documentary practices in north-western Iberia. This will bring about a better understanding of the practice of writing across all levels of society.</p>

Enhanced Westermo dataset - Transformed and Modified for Test case Selection and Priorotization in the context of Continuous Integration and Reinforcement Learning.

<p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>This repository contains a modified version of the existing, recently published dataset, Westermo. The initial dataset was gathered at Westermo Network Technologies AB, located in V&auml;ster&aring;s, Sweden. It encompasses over <strong>1 Million verdicts</strong> obtained from testing embedded systems, collected over a span of more than <strong>500 consecutive days</strong> of nightly testing. The dataset has been transformed and tailored specifically to cater to the research community, particularly for addressing challenges such as regression test selection, identification of flaky tests, and visualization of test results. The original dataset can be accessed through the reference provided in <strong>[1]</strong>.</p> <p>The Westermo dataset offers valuable historical information regarding the execution of test cases and their corresponding results. It serves as a valuable resource for evaluating and comparing different Test case Selection and Prioritization (TSP) techniques, enabling researchers to identify test cases that are more likely to fail during subsequent executions. Test cases in the dataset are characterized by attributes such as execution duration, previous last execution time, and the results of their recent executions.</p> <p>This dataset offers valuable historical information regarding the execution of test cases and their corresponding results. It serves as a valuable resource for evaluating and comparing different test case prioritization and selection techniques, enabling researchers to identify test cases that are more likely to fail during subsequent executions. This led us to perform a dataset conversion, where we customized Westermo to have the same features from Paint Control and IOF/ROL, two widely used datasets in Reinforcement Learning based TSP approaches.</p> <p>This conversion required the combination of multiple variables and generating the target ones. When it comes to generating the &ldquo;LastResults&rdquo; and &ldquo;Cycle&rdquo; values, further analysis was required and the data handling needed an in-depth understanding of how the nightly testing was conducted. This led us to investigate what a CI cycle is in their context, and we followed their definition of a session, stating that &ldquo;a session is when we run a suite of tests on one test system with a certain software version and testware version&rdquo;. When splitting the data according to the 9 different systems used, we were able to generate 9 different sub-sets that fit the CI context.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>File Format</strong></p> <p>The compressed .zip file contains 9 files, each one corresponding to each of the 9 systems. The datasets are available in CSV format, with the semicolon (;) serving as the delimiter. This also addresses the limitations in the field discussed in the systematic literature review <strong>[2]</strong>, stating that future research on TSP techniques should focus on collecting data from more recent subjects in a CI context with varying failure rates and larger execution times, as reproducible studies with appropriate datasets are needed to develop a usable body of knowledge regarding TSP over time. LAGOS-NE-GIS v1.0: A module for LAGOS-NE, a multi-scaled geospatial and temporal database of lake ecological context and water quality for thousands of U.S. Lakes: 2013-1925

This data package, LAGOS-NE-GIS v1.0, is 1 of 5 data packages associated with the LAGOS-NE database-- the LAke multi-scaled GeOSpatial and temporal database. Three of the data packages each contain different types of data for 51,101 lakes and reservoirs larger than 4 ha in 17 lake-rich U.S. states to support research on thousands of lakes. These three package are: (1) LAGOS-NE-LOCUS v1.01: lake location and physical characteristics for all lakes. (2) LAGOS-NE-GEO v1.05: ecological context (i.e., the land use, geologic, climatic, and hydrologic setting of lakes) for all lakes. These geospatial data were created by processing national-scale and publicly-accessible datasets to quantify numerous metrics at multiple spatial resolutions. And, (3) LAGOS-NE-LIMNO v1.087.1: in-situ measurements of lake water quality from the past three decades for approximately 2,600-12,000 lakes, depending on the variable. This module was created by harmonizing 87 water quality datasets from federal, state, tribal, and non-profit agencies, university researchers, and citizen scientists. The other two data packages contain supporting data for the LAGOS-NE database: (4) LAGOS-NE-GIS v1.0: the GIS data layers for lakes, wetlands, and streams, as well as the spatial resolutions that were used to create the LAGOS-NE-GEO module. (5) LAGOS-NE-RAWDATA: the original 87 datasets of lake water quality prior to processing, the R code that converts the original data formats into LAGOS-NE data format, and the log file from this procedure to create LAGOS-NE. This latter data package supports the reproducibility of LAGOS-NE-LIMNO. The LAGOS-NE GIS v1.0 module includes GIS datasets for: lake polygons and their hydrologic classification; wetland polygons and their classification; streams as a line coverage and their classification by stream order; the zones used for this study (state and county; hydrologic units [at the 4, 8 and 12 scales]); and, lake watersheds (IWS). Each meadow contained six fixed sampling sites. Each captured crab's morphological and demographic characteristics were evaluated; as such, data are presented at the individual level. Seagrass landscape measurements were calculated using maps developed from aerial imagery by Orth et al. (2019). Oyster reefs polygons were mapped by Ross and Luckenbach (2009). Salt marsh polygons were mapped by Berman et al. (2011) and modified based on imagery from Planet Team (2019). Mean seagrass shoot density measurements were based on a VCR-wide 2019 sampling effort led by McGlathery (2018).

Seguindo as diretrizes da Grounded Theory, entrevistamos 46 profissionais de TI para investigar como as organiza&ccedil;&otilde;es que buscam a entrega contı́nua organizam suas equipes de desenvolvimento e opera&ccedil;&otilde;es. Entre nossos resultados, descobrimos quatro estruturas organizacionais: (1) departamentos em silos, (2) DevOps cl&aacute;ssico, (3) equipes multifuncionais e (4) times de plataforma. Depois de descobrir essas estruturas e suas propriedades, descrevemos, neste artigo, nossos planos para entender melhor quais propriedades e for&ccedil;as contextuais levam uma organiza&ccedil;&atilde;o a adotar uma estrutura organizacional em detrimento das demais.</p>
