Passive seismic dataset to "Variable water input controls evolution of the Lesser Antilles volcanic arc" by Cooper et al.

This repository contains supplementary passive seismic datasets to Cooper et al. (2020, Nature). This description serves as the README file for this repository and each component of this dataset is described below.

1. station_metadata.tar.gz

This compressed tar.gz file contains directories for each seismic network comprising a single STATIONXML file with the metadata for all stations in that network. The stationxml files can be read using ObsPy's read_inventory module.

This file can be uncompressed using the following command:

tar -xvzf station_metadata.tar.gz

2. local_earthquake_catalog_2016-2017_BieEtAl.xml
Raw local earthquake catalogue containing magnitudes and hypocentre locations from Bie et al. (2019; doi: 10.1785/0220190147). This paper should also be cited when using this dataset.
