Methanol-water mixtures obtained with the OPLS force field and SPCE water model
<p>These are Gromacs trajectories, 20 ps each, with MD information corresponding to pure water (one trajectory), methanol (one trajectory), and 2:1 molar mixtures of the two (10 trajectories). The pure water system contains 800 molecules, pure methanol contains 400 molecules, and each of the mixtures contains 400 water molecules and 200 methanol molecules. The force field employed is OPLS and water was simulated with the rigid SPCE model.</p> <p>These trajectories are made available with the main purpose of being used to run one of the DoSPT tutorials:</p> <p>http://dospt.org/index.php/Tutorial_2:_entropy_of_mixing_of_methanol%2Bwater</p>
Oregon hydrologic area agricultural field boundaries and field level and hydrologic unit water use data
<p>The data was developed for the USGS Water-Use and Data Research program grant opportunities G20AS00053 and G21AS00258, combined with fundnig from Oregon Water Resources Department to improve estimates of water use from irrigated lands in Oregon. These data contain attributes of irrigation status, irrigation source type, crop type, irrigation method, assumed irrigation efficiency, irrigation water source, evapotranspiration (ET) data from OpenET, and effective precipitation developed using the USBR ET Demands model. Thee data were aggregated in order to further the development of estimates of applied water at the field-scale.</p>

More specifically, 2 tomato Tomres lines (TOMRES- 149, Bil-6191 and TOMRES 162, M82) x 2 water/nutritional regimens (standard water/nutrient supply vs 20% irrigation reduction/no nutrient supply). Greenhouse will also have non grafted plants on Armstrong rootstock cultivated under standard water/nutrient supply and 20% irrigation reduction/no nutrient supply</p>

Data for: Improvements in the Land and Crop Modeling over Flooded Rice Fields by Incorporating the Shallow Paddy Water (Submitting to the Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems)
<p>We incorporated the shallow paddy surface water layer into the Noah-MP land surface model to improve its performance of surface heat fluxes over flooded rice paddies. Field measurements from two crop sites, i.e., SAITO (early rice) and SAGA (late rice), were used to initialize and evaluate the modified Noah-MP model (Maruyama, 2021). Additionally, we investigated the roles of some key parameters in the land and crop modeling. </p> <p>Note that, all numerical experiments in this study were conducted at the field scale using the offline version of Noah-MP (Niu et al., 2011) running within the High-Resolution Land Data Assimilation System (HRLDAS v3.9; Chen et al., 2007). Please refer to the official HRLDAS/Noah-MP unified Github repository (<a href="https://github.com/NCAR/hrldas">https://github.com/NCAR/hrldas-release</a>) for the original model codes.</p> <p>The related model code modifications and model outputs were included in this dataset. Decades of water column temperature, lake level and meteorological data of Lake Lacawac, a pristine glacial lake at Lacawac Biological Field Station in the Pocono mountains, Pennsylvania USA (1992-2019)
Lake Lacawac weather and the lake water column were monitored to observe seasonal and interannual temperature and lake level patterns in response to solar heating, wind-driven water column mixing, precipitation, evaporation, watershed runoff and seepage, and outflow (L. Lacawac has an outflow stream but no inflow stream, and is surrounded on one side by peat bogs). Several studies have shown the lake to have a slow exchange by seepage (slightly more seeping in than out except during dry months). Over the years the raft data have been used to calibrate heat flux, mixing, and evaporation models for the lake, to study zooplankton and phytoplankton distribution and dissolved organic matter flux (photobleaching in the water column, influx from the watershed, and exchange with bottom sediments) and associated UV transparency. The data have also been used to accompany experimental manipulations of lake organisms (algae, zooplankton, fish) in relation to exposure to UV radiation. More recently these lake data have been useful in developing lake indices of climate change.
