Supporting data and code for: Distribution of invasive versus native whitefly species and their pyrethroid knock-down resistance allele in a context of interspecific hybridization
<p>This is the first release of the final data and code for the article accepted for publication in Scientific Reports journal. It contains all the necessary scripts to produce most of the analyses and figures of the manuscript. All the necessary data can be found in the 'data' folder.</p>
Fig. 4 in Comparison of the effects of neonicotinoids and pyrethroids against Oebalus pugnax (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) in rice
Fig. 4. Mean ± SE proportion of rice stink bugs surviving afer confinement for 48 h to sleeve cages at 3 time points afer insecticide applications in 2011. Means accompanied by asterisks indicate a significant difference from controls for the respective sampling date (a priori contrasts, P <0.05). (CY = λ-cyhalothrin, DN = dinotefuran).
Fig. 7 in Comparison of the effects of neonicotinoids and pyrethroids against Oebalus pugnax (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) in rice
Fig. 7. Average numbers of rice stink bugs caught in 10 sweeps in commercial fields before insecticide application (black bars), 48 hours afer insecticide applications (dark gray bars), or 7 d afer insecticide applications (light gray bars). Means accompanied by different letters indicate a significant difference across treatments (P <0.05, LSD).
Phenotypic resistance to pyrethroid associated to metabolic mechanism in Vgsc-L995F resistant-Anopheles gambiae malaria mosquitoes
<p>Pyrethroid resistance selection was performed over 20 generations with <em>Vgsc</em>-L995F <em>Anopheles gambiae</em> Tiassalé strain. <em>Vgsc</em>-L99F-resistant <em>An. gambiae</em> larvae were exposed to a sublethal dose (killing 20% of larvae) of deltamethrin (LS) and adults to PermaNet 2.0 (AS) at a sublethal time (killing 20% of adults) and combining exposure were realized at larvae and adult stages (LAS) and compared to unexposed group (NS). World Health Organization susceptible tube test was performed at each five generation to follow the evolutionary resistance to deltamethrin. The frequency of <em>Vgsc</em>-L995F/S mutation was screened using multiplex TaqMan qPCR method. Then, expression levels of detoxification enzymes associated to pyrethroid resistance, including CYP4G16, CYP6M2, CYP6P1, CYP6P3, CYP6P4, CYP6Z1 and CYP9K1, and glutathione S-transferase GSTe2 were measured.</p>
