Lesingey Round: point cloud
Lesingey Round is a hillfort near Penzance in Cornwall, and likely dates to the Iron Age. The monument consists of a roughly circular enclosure surrounded by ramparts with a ditch on the outside. From the partially buried ditch, the ramparts stand over 4.5m high in places. In other areas the ramparts have been damaged. The site sits atop a prominent hill with panoramic views, and is covered by a 'crown' of trees that cover the site. In this model the individual survey measurements points are visible, allowing a 'transparent' view of the monument, and to understand the tree and vegetation cover. This 3D survey was undertaken by the [Curatorial Research Centre](https://curatorialresearch.com) on behalf of Penwith Landscape Partnership (PLP). The site is owned and maintained by the [Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network](https://cornishancientsites.com/) (CASPN). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Poverty Point Mound B
Mound B is located north and west of the six concentric ridges and 2050 ft (625 m) north of Mound A. The mound is roughly conical in form and is approximately 21 ft (6.5 m) in height with a 180 ft (55 m) basal diameter. Dating to sometime after 1700 BC, Mound B was the first earthwork built at Poverty Point. Built in several stages, charcoal, fire pits, and possible postmolds were found at various levels within the mound. The impressions of woven baskets were preserved in the fill of an upper level of the mound construction. The final stage of the mound construction was a conical silt loam lens that covered the entire mound surface. [WIKI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_Point Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Point Cloud - Castillo de Salvatierra
This is a point cloud of the Salvatierra Castle, located in the municipality of Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real, Spain). The data were collected with three FAROFocus3D laser scanners in March 2017. The castle is of the period of greatest historical prominence between the battles of Alarcos (1195) and Las Navas de Tolosa (1212). Between 1198 and 1211 the Order of Calatrava installed its convent headquarters in this fortress and was consolidated as the Order of Salvatierra. In 1226 it was definitely abandoned when its last Muslim defenders handed it over to Christians in the context of Las Navas pacts. Despite its advanced state of ruin, it still retains part of the donjon, numerous barrel vaults and large walled spaces that acted as albacar and barbican. We want to publicly thank the collaboration of the Castilla-La Mancha regional government and the archaeologist Ana Segovia Fernández. Explore the 3D model of this castle in this same GDH Sketchfab Collection. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Point-butted axe
Polished point-butted greenstone axe from Lofta parish, Småland. The point butted axes appears in Scandinavia during the Early Neolithich, c:a 4000-3700 BC, and are associated with the Funnel Beaker Culture. At some point, probably towards the end of the Neolithic period, c:a 2300-1700 BC, someone has attempted to transform this axe into a shaft hole axe by drilling a hole through its narrow side. This enterprise was abandonded quite early on, perhaps the density of the stone was too much to handle. http://historiska.se/upptack-historien/object/1227378 3D scanning Xenter 3D-tekniker Midori Åstrand Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
