<p><span><span> </span><em><span>The article expresses scientific opinions on theoretical concepts and types of the documentary novel genre. The main requirement for a fictional documentary novel is the presentation of archival materials and facts, in connection with which the importance of writing skills was noted. Although this genre of novels entered Karakalpak literature late, it was largely stopped by the fact that its writing strictly corresponded to certain theoretical requirements.</span></em></span></p>
