An incomplete lead or lead alloy pilgrims ampulla, of medieval dating (AD 1175 to AD 1500). It is sub rectangular in shape, with an incomplet horizontal linear upper edge and a narrowed neck, and circular body. This horizontal edge of the ampulla appears to be pushed together. Decoration is faintly present on both sides. The obverse is undistinct but has a cross hatched background, and the reverse depicts a large leaf design inside cross hatching. A casting ridge is present around the sides of the ampulla. Medieval fortified church known as St. Munna's Church stands in the centre of a graveyard (WM012-076001-) . The church and graveyard appears to have been built on the site of the early Christian monastery (WM012-076003-) founded by St. Munna. Described in 1980 as following; 'This is a rectangular church with a residential tower at the west end. Church and tower are the same width and appear to be contemporary. Wmid-03de3d - Medieval buckle
A complete copper alloy single looped oval buckle with two lobed knops and offset bar, typically of late 12th to late 14th Centuries AD. It consists of a oval frame, with an narrow offset bar, with a recess for the leather strap. The pin is present. The outer edge of the buckle is decorated. There are two diagonally extending prominent lobed knops, both plain in decorative details. The knops are flanking a recessed central section on the outer edge. This recessed section may have originally taken a 'roller', probably made from a piece of sheet copper alloy metal. Wmid-50c739 - Medieval gilded mount
A possible Medieval three dimensional copper alloy and gilded figure dating to circa AD 1200-1500. The figure is seated holding a globe in the left hand which is resting on the persons knee. The right hand appears to be broken. The figure has long hair to the shoulders. The figure has a long skirt which falls to the ankles with drapery around the shoulders which is held together on the chest with a circular fastening. The object is flat at the bottom so it can stand. The reverse is flat and appears to have the remains of two circular rivets which means it may have once been attached to another object.
