User Experience Analysis of Jak Lingko Application Using Honeycomb UX Method with Smart PLS

<p><strong><em>Abstract&mdash; </em></strong>As a growing capital city, Jakarta has seen an increase in the use of public transportation such as Trans Jakarta, MRT, LRT, and KRL. These intermodal modes of transportation have become the main choice for people of Jakarta in carrying out their daily activities. To support the integration of various modes of transportation, the government through the Ministry of Transportation developed a smart transportation ecosystem based on the Jak Lingko application. Although this application has great potential in reducing congestion, the low rating of the application indicates a need for further evaluation. This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the Jak Lingko application in terms of user experience and identify areas that require improvement. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used to measure the quality of the Jak Lingko application user experience. The questionnaire was designed based on Honeycomb's UX framework which includes seven aspects: useful, usable, findable, accessible, credible, desirable, and valuable. The results show that the measurement model has good reliability and validity, with Cronbach's alpha values ranging from 0.843 to 0.945 and average AVE values above 0.5. Path analysis shows that accessibility has a significant influence on the perceived added value of the app. These findings highlight the importance of accessibility in improving the user experience of public transportation applications.</p> <p><strong><em>Keywords - </em></strong>user experience, mobile application, public transportation, Honeycomb framework, Jak Lingko, Smart PLS.</p>

Data from: Testing the role of climate in speciation: new methods and applications to squamate reptiles (lizards and snakes)

Climate may play important roles in speciation, such as causing the range fragmentation that underlies allopatric speciation (through niche conservatism) or driving divergence of parapatric populations along climatic gradients (through niche divergence). Here, we developed new methods to test the frequency of climate niche conservatism and divergence in speciation, and applied it to species pairs of squamate reptiles (lizards and snakes). We used a large-scale phylogeny to identify 242 sister-species pairs for analysis. From these, we selected all terrestrial allopatric pairs with sufficient occurrence records (n=49 pairs) and inferred whether each originated via climatic niche conservatism or climatic niche divergence. Among the 242 pairs, allopatric pairs were most common (41.3%), rather than parapatric (19.4%), partially sympatric (17.7%), or fully sympatric species pairs (21.5%). Among the 49 selected allopatric pairs, most appeared to have originated via climatic niche divergence (61–76%, depending on the details of the methods). Surprisingly, we found greater climatic niche divergence between allopatric sister species than between parapatric pairs, even after correcting for geographic distance. We also found that niche divergence did not increase with time, further implicating niche divergence in driving lineage splitting. Overall, our results suggest that climatic niche divergence may often play an important role in allopatric speciation, and the methodology developed here can be used to address the generality of these findings in other organisms.

Green spectrofluorimetric assay of dantrolene sodium via reduction method: application to content uniformity testing

<p>The green analysis has turned out to be of a great value in all areas, including pharmaceutical analysis. Thus, it is extremely important to consider the environmental influence of each step in developing any analysis technique.  The present work illustrates a validated, simple and green spectrofluorimetric method for the analysis of dantrolene sodium. The developed process is characterized by being of high sensitivity as well as being relatively inexpensive. The suggested technique based on the formation of a highly fluorescent product of dantrolene sodium via its reduction by the aid of Zn/HCl system. The resulting fluorophore showed a powerful fluorescence at λem 344 nm after excitation at λex 279 nm. Calibration graph revealed a great linear regression (r = 0.9998) within concentration ranging from 0.05 to 2.0 µg mL−1. The suggested method had a very low detection and quantification limit of 0.007 ng mL−1 and 0.019 ng mL−1, respectively. The applied technique was effectively used in the determination of dantrolene sodium in its pharmaceutical preparations. The results were compared with those from using the official USP method and they were in a good agreement. Moreover, content uniformity testing of dantrolene sodium in capsules was performed adopting the investigated technique with satisfying results. The greenness of the suggested technique was confirmed by the three standard assessment tools. Therefore, the developed technique can be used in the routine quality control analysis of dantrolene sodium with minimum harmful impact on nature or individuals.</p>

Data from: An efficient method for estimating vein density of Glossopteris and its application

<p><em><span>Glossopteris</span></em><span>-type leaves are the most abundant floristic element from the Gondwanan continent and are recorded throughout the Permian, which was a period of extreme icehouse-to-hothouse climatic global change. Fossil leaf traits can be useful for the reconstruction of palaeoenvironments and identification of climatic changes throughout geological time, but the conservative morphology of <em><span>Glossopteris</span></em> leaves made them difficult to use for this purpose thus far. If the characters of <em><span>Glossopteris</span></em> can be better quantified then it should make them useful for tracking environmental changes over a wide geographic area for a long-time interval. Venation density is a highly variable leaf trait that might be useful for this purpose. This trait can be calculated, usually as vein length per centimetre square, but this can be a time-consuming procedure. In this paper, we propose a new rapid method to estimate venation density in a conical sector of <em><span>Glossopteris</span></em> leaf lamina through an accurate linear model whose predictors are three linear venation densities, measured as veins per centimetre. In addition to substantially reducing the data collection time, it is less biased and more reproducible than previous methods applied before with this leaf type. Using this more robust method, preliminary results significantly distinguish the venation densities of leaves produced in wet and drier ecosystems, matching a pattern similar to modern plants.</span> <span>This is the first survey using a large sample size to reveal that environmental stress controlled the vein architecture of Palaeozoic plants, in a manner similar to plants in modern ecosystems.</span></p>

Towards efficient N cycling in intensive maize: role of cover crops and application methods of digestate liquid fraction

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Digestate, a by-product of biogas production, is widely recognized as a promising renewable nitrogen (N) source with high potential to replace synthetic fertilizers. Yet, inefficient digestate use can lead to pollutant N losses as ammonia (NH3) volatilization, nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions and nitrate (NO3-) leaching. Cover crops may reduce some of these N losses and recycle the N back into the soil after incorporation, but the net effect on the N balance depends on the cover crop species. In a one-year field study, we tested the effects of two application methods (i.e., surface broadcasting, BDC; and shallow injection, INJ) of the liquid fraction of separated co-digested cattle slurry (DLF), combined with different winter cover crop options (CCs, i.e., rye, white mustard or bare fallow), as starter fertilizer for maize. Later in the season, side-dressing with urea was required to fulfill maize N-requirements. We tested treatment effects on yield, N-uptake, N-use efficiency parameters, and N-losses in the form of N2O emissions and NO3- leaching. Cover crop development and biomass production were strongly affected by their contrasting frost tolerance, with spring-regrowth for rye, while mustard was winter killed. After the cover crops, injection of DLF increased N2O emissions significantly compared with BDC (emission factor of 2.69 <em>vs.</em> 1.66%). Nitrous oxide emissions accounted for a small part (11-13%) of the overall yield-scaled N losses (0.46 - 0.97 kg N Mg grain-1). The adoption of CCs reduced fall NO3- leaching, <span>being 51% and 64% lower for mustard and rye than under bare soil. In addition, rye reduced </span>NO3- leaching during spring and summer after termination by promoting N immobilization, thus leading to -57% lower annual leaching losses compared to mustard.<span> Our study confirms the potential of CCs to reduce </span>NO3-<span> leaching, but it also highlights that their residue can increase N losses once terminated and that they may cause yield reductions. DLF application method modified N-loss pathways, but not the cumulative yield-scaled N losses. Overall, these insights contribute to inform an evidence-based design of cropping systems in which nutrients are recycled more efficiently.</span></span></p>
