Missing cup-marked stone from Tregiffian
This stone was uncovered during excavations at Tregiffian burial chamber (Cornwall, UK) in 1968, and was given to a local farmer. Unfortunately we do not know where he put the stone and presume that it is in a nearby hedge but is obscured by undergrowth. Only three photographs (one colour, two black and white) are known to exist of this stone, and these have been used to create a simple surface model to help us check against a drawn plan from the original excavation. Cup hilt Sidesword
A lowpolycup hilt sidesword. Modeled and textured by me. I plan to use this in some animations in the future. This kind of sidesword was carried from civilians to the military and it was used by itself or accompanied by a dagger. The cup hilt is tipically associated with the spanish traditional fencing "La verdadera destreza". Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Broughmore Wood 9 - Quernstones and Cups
A shallow dome-shaped rock carved with an array of miniature quern stone rough-outs and a couple of possible cup marks. There is also a carved bowl-like depression at the highest point which is where a quernstone has been extracted. A plan is now in the pipeline for a full excavation of the site, which it is hoped will shed more light on its chronology and, hopefully, reveal even of these more fascinating rock surfaces. This panel was recorded and 3D modelled by Nick Parish for Scotland's Rock Art Project (ScRAP). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Mini Skyphos Cup
This small skyphos cup ([GR.54.1865](https://data.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/id/object/65806)) was found at a classical cemetery at Kranioi in Cephalonia, a Greek Island near Corinth, Greece and dates from 500 B.C. — 401 B.C. A skyphos is a deep-bowled drinking vessel with a low foot and two short handles, and these minature versions are found in Corinthian pottery production during this period. These cups are often found at sanctuaries, suggesting their use as votive offerings throughout the region. This 3D model was made as part of the [#CEEF3D project ](http://creative-economy.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/) at the Fitzwilliam Museum, in connection to [Being an Islander: Art and Identity of the large Mediterranean Islands](http://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/being-islander-art-and-identity-large-mediterranean-islands). Cup-marked stone, Zermatt-Hubelwäng, Switzerland
Cup-marked stone in the Matter valley near Zermatt, Switzerland (for a map see http://goo.gl/LbrI1i). Recorded in April 2016. The flat quartzite slab ist situated next to the hiking trail from Herbrigg to Zmutt at around 2000 m ASL with a panoramic view including the Matterhorn. Measuring ca. 4.8 x 3 m, the stone shows prehistoric cup marks and symbolic petroglyphs as well as modern initials and the date 1762. See https://skfb.ly/68RqY for a Matcap rendering which brings out the petroglyphs a lot better than the textured model. Dun Muir - Possible Cup Marked Stone
At first sight this boulder appears to be heavily cup marked. Its location also ticks all the boxes for where you would expect to find such a rock art site. However, closer examination of the 'cup marks' reveals most of them to probably be natural as many have sharp edges to their lips, vertical sides or irregular, even undercut, profiles. Most are on the vertical faces of the boulder which would also be unusual as rock art in Scotland is largely on horizontal surfaces. There is one large, upward facing cup mark on the SW end of the top surface of the stone which, if this was the only such mark on it, would be acceptable as an authentic cup mark. It is possible that this natural 'cup marked' boulder was deliberately moved to this location & maybe enhanced with one or more additional cup marks (there are a couple more tentative possibles). This has been recorded as a possible rock art site in the ScRAP record. Recording and 3D modelling by Nick Parish for Scotland's Rock Art Project - ScRAP ID 31. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
