database with pre- intervention data of children with Dyslexia treated with VHSS

The database contains pre-intervention data of a group of 55 children with Developmental Dyslexia who were going to be treated with Visual-Hemisphere-Specific stimulation at IRCCS E. Medea. Data include z-scores for reading, spelling, phonological awareness, memory, rapid automatized naming and visual search tests. IQ scores are also reported as z-scores. All variables ending with _a are the weighed scores with respect to reading accuracy (i.e., the product of the score multiplied by its correlation with reading accuracy, as calculated on the total sample of 266 children). All variables ending with _s are the weighed scores with respect to reading speed (i.e., the product of the score multiplied by its correlation with reading speed, as calculated on the total sample of 266 children). .

Dataset on follow-up results of Tachidino treatment of dyslexia

The dataset contains the scores obtained by a group of 80 Italian children with Developmental Dyslexia, treated with the remotely supervised treatment Tachidino, at pre-post (indicated by prefix A), post-test (indicated by prefix B) and follow-up after 6 months of no-treatment (indicated by prefix F). It also contains difference-scores between post tet and pre-test (indicated by the code 12), between post-test and follow-up (indicated by the code 23) and between pre-test and follow-up (indicated by the code 13).

single-component vs multi-component treatment of dyslexia

Raw data with pre-intervention and post-intervention reading and reading-related scores of two groups of children, treated with single-component (VHSS or AVG) versus multi-component treatment (VHSS + AVG)..

All variables starting with "a" refer to pre-test, all scores starting with "b" refer to post-test, all variables starting with "d" are difference-scores (post-test minus pre-test)

dataset VHSS+AVG vs Tachidino treatment of dyslexia

The dataset contains all reading and reading-related scores at pre-test (indicated by the prefix A), post-test (indicated by prefix B) and post-test minus pre-test differences (indicated by prefix D) for a sample of Italian children with a diagnosis of Developmental Dyslexia, treated with either Visual Hemisphere-Specific Stimulation (V-HSS) and Action Video-Games (AVG) or the remotely supervised program called Tachidino.
