Monastery of Batalha
Monastery of Batalha in Portugal or [Santa Maria da Vitória na Batalha](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batalha,_Portugal) was created to honor Virgin Mary for the victory of the Portuguese over the Castillian crown. After the death of Ferdinand I (1383), there was a succession war between Ferdinand's daughter Beatrice, queen of Castile and Ferdinand's half brother, John I. The battle of Aljubarrota was the decisive moment which marked the victory of John, the founding of the Aviz dynasty (1385-1580) and the beginning of military alliance between England and Portugal. This alliance is still active today (800 years old) and was used during the second world war. The battle was also an important mark in the 100 years war. It was one of the many losses the French suffered. A trend that was changed later by Jeanne d'Arc. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Geghard Monastery - Portal of Katoghike Church
Though there are inscriptions dating to the 1160s, the main church was built in 1215 under the auspices of the brothers Zakare and Ivane (of the Zakarid-Mkhargrzeli family), the generals of Queen Tamar of Georgia, who took back most of Armenia from the Turks. The southern facade of the Katoghike has a portal with fine carvings. The tympanum is decorated with a representation of trees with pomegranates hanging from their branches, and of leaves intertwining with grapes. The pictures of doves are placed between the arch and the outside frame; the doves' heads are turned to the axis of the portal. Above the portal is carved a lion attacking an ox, symbolizing the prince's power. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geghard Images captured with a Sony A7rii and reconstructed with RealityCapture. KLASTORISKO carthusian monastery - church
Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Geghard Monastery - Portal to the Vestry
West of the main temple there is a rock-attached vestry, in Armenian gavit (Latin narthex) built between 1215 and 1225, linked to the main church. The western portal differs from other portals of those times by van-shaped door bands, decorated with a fine floral pattern. The ornamentation of the tympanum consists of large flowers with petals of various shapes in the interlaced branches and oblong leaves. Four massive free-standing columns in the centre support a roof of stone with a hole in the centre to admit light. The peripheral spaces resulting from the location of the columns are variously roofed, whilst the central space is crowned by a dome with stalactites, the best example of this technique anywhere in Armenia. The gavit was used for teaching and meetings, and for receiving pilgrims and visitors - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geghard Images captured with an A7rii and reconstructed using RealityCapture. Roussanou Monastery, Meteora, Greece
Rousannou Monastery at Meteora, Greece, was founded around 1545 by Maximos and Ioasaph of Ioannina. The reason for the monastery's name is not known - it is actually dedicated to St. Barbara - but may reflect the name of a hermit who occupied the rock. It soon declined and became subject to Varlaam Monastery by 1614. The monastery once again fell into disrepair for the two centuries prior to the 1940s, when it was damaged in World War II then plundered by the Germans. It was later repaired by the regional archaeological service and since 1988 it has been occupied by a small community of 13 nuns. I created the model of the monastery and the landscape with Agisoft Photoscan trial using 3 different drone videos. Fixes of the geometries and texture maps were done in ZBrush. Lion Fountain at Jeronimos Monastery
My first scene built with 3DF Zephyr v4.500 using 155 images. This fountain can be found at Jeronimos Monastery in Belem, Lisbon. This is a special fountain because you can ask for wishes but only in a specific manner: You have to touch the lion with only one hand - start by saying "Mr. Lion I really want..." - and dont tell anyone about the wish until it was granted. Rock-cut monastery, Karukonda, Telangana

A small rock-cut monastery to the east of Kothaguden. It consists of a stupa and two image shrines. The stupa opens deep recesses in four directions. The back wall of each recess carves a seated image of the Buddha. Rock-cut cells, which could also be used as monastic residences, carve a seated Buddha with attendants on the back wall and standing bodhisattvas on the side walls.
