Additional morphometrical and ecological data collected during the 2018 expedition of the UMMZ in Nicaragua
<p>Nicaragua is a biodiverse country, but documented herpetological specimens are underrepresented when compared to other neighboring countries. In 2018 we conducted a collaborative expedition between the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology and Nicaraguan biologists. We visited three collection sites in the Pacific lowlands, Caribbean lowlands, and the Central Highlands, representing three major biogeographic regions. We collected specimens of 100 species from a total of 106 encountered. We provide accession numbers, morphological, genetic, and ecological information for these specimens. We recorded 23 new departmental and the first country record of <em>Metlapilcoatlus indomitus</em> (Smith & Ferrari-Castro, 2008), helping filling gaps in the known distribution of the species within Nicaragua and the Central American region. When available, we provide species range maps and comparative genetic tree including conspecific reference sequences from the region.</p>

The multi-ethnic population of six million includes people of indigenous, European, African, and Asian heritage. The main language is Spanish. Datasets includes raw macroinvertebrate and mesohabitat data, taxonomic information (family, genus, and resolution), and functional feeding group (FFG) designations based on Ramírez & Gutiérrez-Fonseca (2014).</p>

Females are much more compact than Lurio, with broad marginal bands covering the sides of the carapace. The iridescent scale cover of females (when not worn) varies from iridescent green to bronze; pigmented scales vary from white to tan or bright orange. Each scale bar = 1 mm. These photographs by D. <p>En este estudio se determinó la riqueza, abundancia, densidad y distribución geográfica de nidos de abejas sin aguijón en el Campus Agropecuario de la UNAN-León, de igual manera se determinó la interacción de abejas sin aguijón en plantas en floración. Asimismo, se identificaron los sustratos de anidación, se revisaron todos los árboles e infraestructura del Campus Agropecuario y se muestrearon las arvenses y arbusto en floración entre los meses de abril a octubre del 2022. </p>
