Ancillary files for generating and processing PA districting plans with 2017 ACS data

Files PA census tracts 2017 data.csv and tl_2010_42_tract10.zip were downloaded from the US Bureau of the Census and so are publicly owned. They are here for the sake of archiving purposes. They were used to generate the PA Congressional districting plans at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3893022. File IDsPopsFull.csv was generated by the author. It maps Pennsylvania census tract IDs to demographic data and to counties in Pennsylvania. This is useful for post-processing plans.

PA 2017 ACS Congressional Districting Plans via SFSR

11,206 Congressional redistricting plans for Pennsylvania, using the 2017 American Community Survery (ACS) census data, and

assuming 17 districts. All generated with an implementation of the SFSR algorithm, originated by the author.

MI and PA Polistes fuscatus face learning

We test how plasticity contributes to geographic variation in individual face recognition in Polistes fuscatus wasps. Previous work has shown that Polistes fuscatus from Michigan, USA (MI) have variable facial patterns used for individual recognition, while Polistes fuscatus from central Pennsylvania, USA (PA) lack variable facial patterns and are unable to learn individual conspecifics. We experimentally altered rearing environment, so wasps were either reared with their own population or in a common garden with wasps from both populations. Then, we tested the wasps' capacity to learn and remember individual conspecific faces.

Same day implant bridge (SDIB) modified technique for full-arch implant fixed rehabilitation for a Kelly syndrome pa-tient with atrophic maxilla.

Combined syndrome (CS) or also known as "anterior hyperfunction syndrome" was first described by Ellsworth Kelly in 1972 is a dental condition commonly seen in patients with a completely edentulous maxilla and a partially edentulous mandible with preserved anterior teeth, where five characteristic features of the syndrome can be seen: loss of bone from the anterior part of the maxillary crest, excessive growth of the maxillary tuberosities, papillary hyperplasia of the mucosa of the hard palate, extrusion of the lower anterior teeth and alveolar bone loss and ridge height beneath mandibular removable denture bases. This report describes an implant treatment of the edentulous maxilla using the ALL ON FOUR (AO4) technique and a partially edentulous mandible that was treated with the same post-extraction technique. The need for a multidisciplinary approach for the prevention and early treatment of this complex condition is emphasized.

Keywords:resorbed maxilla; hypertrophic bone; atrophic bone; Kelly syndrome; anterior
