This bundle contains calibrated data from the Microscopic Imager (MI) on Mars Exploration Rover 1 (Opportunity). These data were produced by the science team.
EPOXI 103P/HARTLEY2 ENCOUNTER - MRI CALIBRATED IMAGES V1.0
This dataset contains calibrated images of comet 103/P Hartley 2 acquired by the Medium Resolution Visible CCD (MRI) from 05 September through 26 November 2010 during the Hartley 2 encounter phase of the EPOXI mission. DAWN FC1 CALIBRATED CERES IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== This dataset contains calibrated Framing Camera 1 (FC1) images sometimes called level-1b or reduced data. It includes images from the Dawn Ceres eXtended Mission 1 Orbit 3 (XMO3, aka Ceres Extended GRaND - CXG) phase on 2017-02-19 and the Ceres eXtended Mission Orbit 4 (XMO4, aka Ceres Extended Opposition - CXO) phase on 2017-04-29. In addition, there are images from eXtended Mission 2 (XM2), orbits XMO6 (C2I - intermediate), and XMO7 (C2E - elliptical) as well as some checkout and end-of-mission star calibration images. FC1 is one of two identical units flying on the Dawn spacecraft. It was designated as the backup system to be used only in the event of a failure of the primary system, FC2. Prior to the Ceres extended mission, FC1 had only been used for in-flight calibration and to periodically exercise its various mechanisms (door, filter wheel, etc.). This is the only science dataset generated by FC1.
DAWN FC2 CALIBRATED CRUISE CHECKOUT/CALIB IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== Framing Camera 2 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the Reduced Data Record (RDR) version of all available images acquired during the initial checkout and pre-Vesta cruise phases (Checkout, Earth to Mars, and Mars to Vesta). As in the original raw data sets, in addition to the imagery, ancillary information is stored within the image headers, as well as a detailed account of all the reference files used for the calibration. Calibration files needed for further processing are archived as a separate data set.

EPOXI MARS OBS - MRI CALIBRATED IMAGES V2.0
This dataset contains calibrated 750-nm filter images of Mars acquired by the Deep Impact Medium Resolution Visible CCD (MRI) for the EPOCh project during the second cruise phase of the EPOXI mission. One set of observations was acquired on 20-21 November 2009 to characterize Mars as an analog for extrasolar planets. The observing period lasted approximately 24 hours, and one MRI image was taken simultaneously with the first north/south scan of the HRI IR spectrometer at half-hour intervals to provide context for the spectral scans. Version 2.0 includes the application of a horizontal destriping process, new absolute calibration constants for filters, and revised electronic crosstalk calibration files.

GALILEO SSI/GASPRA RADIOMETRICALLY CALIBRATED IMAGES V1.0
This data set includes Galileo Orbiter SSI radiometrically calibrated images of the asteroid 951 Gaspra, created using ISIS software and assuming nadir pointing. This is an original delivery of radiometrically calibrated files, not an update to existing files. All images archived include the the asteroid within the image frame. Calibration was performed in 2013-2014.
DAWN FC2 CALIBRATED CERES IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== Framing Camera 2 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the Reduced Data Record (RDR) version of all available images acquired during the Ceres Encounter (Approach, Survey, HAMO, and LAMO and the Ceres extended mission phases (XMO1-4). In addition to the imagery, anciliary information is stored within the image headers, as well as a detailed account of all the reference files used for the calibration. Calibration files used during processing are archived as a separate data set.
EPOXI MARS OBS - MRI CALIBRATED IMAGES V1.0
This data set contains calibrated 750-nm filter images of Mars acquired by the Deep Impact Medium Resolution Visible CCD (MRI) for the EPOCh project during the second cruise phase of the EPOXI mission.
EPOXI EARTH OBS - MRI CALIBRATED IMAGES V1.0
This data set set contains version 1.0 of calibrated 750-nm filter images of Earth acquired by the Deep Impact Medium Resolution Visible CCD during the EPOCh phase of the EPOXI mission. The MRI instrument was only used during first Earth observing period on 18-19 March 2008. The observing period lasted approximately 24 hours, and one MRI image was taken simultaneously with the first north/south scan of the HRI IR spectrometer at half-hour intervals. These MRI data serve as context images for the IR spectral scans. Additional Earth observations are planned for the mission, and, if acquired, MRI images will be added to a future version of this data set.
EPOXI EARTH OBS - HRIV CALIBRATED IMAGES V2.0
This data set contains calibrated, narrow band filter images (350-950 nm) of Earth acquired by the Deep Impact High Resolution Visible CCD (HRIV) during the EPOCh and Cruise 2 phases of the EPOXI mission. Five sets of observations were acquired on 18-19 March, 28-29 May and 04-05 June 2008 and on 27-28 March and 04-05 October 2009 to characterize Earth as an analog for extrasolar planets. Each observing period lasted approximately 24 hours. HRIV images were acquired once per hour with the filters centered on 350, 750 and 950 nm, whereas the 450-, 550-, 650-, and 850-nm data were taken every 15 minutes. During the observing period in May 2008, the Moon transited across Earth as seen from the spacecraft. On 27 September 2009 during the first attempt of an Earth south polar observation, only seven HRIV frames were acquired before fault protection turned that instrument off; the full sequence was successfully rerun on 04-05 October 2009. Version 2.0 includes the application of a horizontal destriping process and revised electronic crosstalk calibration files.

DAWN FC2 CALIBRATION IMAGES V1.0
Abstract ======== Framing Camera 2 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the image files to be used in the calibration of the raw data throughout the mission. These files represent the behaviour of each individual pixel with respect to dark current generation and pixel-to-pixel non-uniformity as a function of the filter. As these are elaborated image products, not obtained from a specific image acquisition, they do not have any ancillary data.
DAWN FC2 CALIBRATED MARS FLYBY IMAGES V1.0
Framing Camera 2 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the Reduced Data Record (RDR) version of all available images acquired during the Mars Flyby phase. As in the original Raw data sets, in addition to the imagery, anciliary information is stored within the image headers, as well as a detailed account of all the reference files used for the calibartion. Calibration files needed for further processing are archived as a separate data set.
EPOXI EARTH OBS - MRI CALIBRATED IMAGES V2.0
This dataset contains calibrated, 750-nm filter images of Earth acquired by the Deep Impact Medium Resolution Visible CCD (MRI) during the EPOCh and Cruise 2 phases of the EPOXI mission. The MRI instrument was only used during the first Earth observing period on 18-19 March 2008 and the last two on 27-28 March and 04-05 October 2009. Each observing period lasted approximately 24 hours, and one MRI image was taken simultaneously with the first north/south scan of the HRI IR spectrometer at half-hour intervals to serve as context spectra.
