Figure 1. Bayesian consensus phylogram for 167 in Phylogenetic position of the poorly known montane cascade frog Amolops monticola (Ranidae) and description of a new closely related species from Northeast India
Figure 1. Bayesian consensus phylogram for 167 taxa representing members of the genus Amolops and five outgroup species, based on 2001 bp of concatenated mitochondrial DNA (16S, COI, and ND2 genes). Voucher numbers and associated details are referenced in Table S1. Bayesian posterior probabilities (BPP) and RAxML bootstrap support (BS) values>50% are denoted above and below the branches, or separated by an oblique (/) mark, respectively. Black vertical bars beside the terminal nodes indicate Amolops species recognised based on Bayesian and ML inferences; grey bars and open rectangles indicate putative species delimited in the bPTP analysis with support values of>90% or <90%, respectively. The genus comprises eight major species groups following Wu et al. (2020), as indicated with coloured bars on the extreme right and corresponding circles on the internal and terminal nodes. Four subgroups are observed within the focal Amolops monticola group. Illustrations representing species groups were prepared based on published photographs.

The accepted species names (according to Zhang et al. 2021) are indicated to the left of each clade. The scale bar represents the expected number of changes per site. The tree was rooted to Cophinforma eucalypti (MFLUCC 11-0425). END: Endophytic; PAT: Pathogenic; SAP: Saprobic; UNK: Unknown.

FIGURE 1. MrBayes phylogram inferred from incomplete internal transcribed spacer rDNA sequence data. Choiromyces meandriformis and C. alveolatus were used to root the tree. The same outcome was shown via Maximum Likelihood. On each branch, Bayesian posterior probability values (PP> 0.75) and maximum likelihood bootstrap values (MLbs> 75%) are displayed. The new species sequences are denoted by an asterisk (*). Different colours are used to represent the six primary Tuber phylogroups. Our findings establish T. mongolicum sp. nov. based on phylogenetic studies as well as morphological observations.

Fig. 1. Phylogram constructed for 31 in Paramecium tredecaurelia: A Unique Non-Polymorphic Species of the P. aurelia spp. Complex (Oligohymenophorea, Ciliophora)
Fig. 1. Phylogram constructed for 31 strains of the P. aurelia species complex (including the 5 studied strains of P. tredecaurelia) and two strains of P. multimicronucleatum used as an outgroup. The trees were constructed on the basis of a comparison of sequences from the ITS1- 5.8S-ITS2-5'LSU rDNA fragment (A), COI (B), and CytB (C) using the Bayesian inference method. Bootstrap values for neighbor joining, maximum parsimony analysis, maximum likelihood, and posterior probabilities for Bayesian inference are shown. Bootstrap values smaller than 50% (posterior probabilities <0.50) are not shown. Dashes represent no bootstrap or posterior value at a given node. All positions containing gaps and missing data were eliminated. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted using MEGA 5.0 (NJ/MP/ML) and MrBayes 3.1.2 (BI).

DNA matrix, phylogram and chronogram of Pepsini species

This dataset submission consists of a DNA matrix and two tree files. The phylogeny file of UCE loci for 39 taxa was required to construct a Maximum Likelihood tree. The tree file was needed to examine the topology and the topology was used to examine the limits of two taxonomically challenging genera within the tribe Pepsini, Cryptocheilus and Heterodontonyx. The time-calibrated tree was built with MCMCTree program to estimate the divergence pattern and timing of the group.
