Spanish results from the monitoring of pesticide residues in food

<p>This dataset contains the analytical results of pesticide residues measured in the food products analysed by the national competent authorities. Pesticide residues resulting from the use of plant protection products on crops that are used for food or feed production may pose a risk factor for public health. For this reason, a comprehensive legislative framework has been established in the European Union (EU), which defines rules for the approval of active substances used in plant protection products, the use of plant protection products and for pesticide residues in food. In order to ensure a high level of consumer protection, legal limits, so called &ldquo;maximum residue levels&rdquo; or briefly &ldquo;MRLs&rdquo;, are established in Regulation (EC) No 396/2005. EU-harmonised MRLs are set for all pesticides covering all types of food products. A default MRL of 0.01 mg/kg is applicable for pesticides not explicitly mentioned in the MRL legislation. Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 imposes on Member States the obligation to carry out controls to ensure that food placed on the market is compliant with the legal limits.</p> <p>A sample is considered <strong>free of quantifiable residues</strong> if the analytes were not present in concentrations at or above the limit of quantification (LOQ). The LOQ is the smallest concentration of an analyte that can be quantified with the analytical method used to analyse the sample. It is commonly defined as the minimum concentration of the analyte in the test sample that can be determined with acceptable precision and accuracy.</p> <p>If a sample <strong>contains quantifiable residues</strong> but within the legally permitted limit (maximum residue level, MRL), it is described as a sample &nbsp;with quantified residue levels within the legal limits (below or at the MRL)</p> <p>A sample is considered <strong>non-compliant</strong> with the legal limit (MRL), if the measured residue concentrations clearly exceed the legal limits, taking into account the measurement uncertainty. Spanish SciELO Crawled Biomedical Corpus

<p>We present a corpus of Spanish medical articles extracted from the SciELO website (https://scielo.cl/). The corpus was constructed using web scraping extraction techniques and consists of 5694 articles published between 2002 and 2020 across 34 journals specialized in health and biology (specified below).</p> <p>Two&nbsp;variables of the corpus are presented here: the first contains the text without pre-processing, which makes it possible to adapt the corpus for different purposes. The second and third have&nbsp;been subjected to pre-processing, which is carried out with the NLTK library in Python and removes capital letters, accents, punctuation, and any non-alphanumeric symbols. In addition, the corpus was tokenized by sentences, obtaining a total of 500828 sentences and 13M tokens.&nbsp; In both cases, the articles are grouped by journal, in order of publication from most recent to oldest. VisSE corpus of Spanish SignWriting

<p>The VisSE corpus is a collection of SignWriting instances, annotated graphically and semantically to capture all the meaning, both lexical and visual, of SignWriting. The samples are handwritten, and codify signs or parts of signs from Spanish Sign Language. It also includes trained neural networks for the automatic recognition of SignWriting. It can be used with <a href="https://github.com/agarsev/quevedo">Quevedo</a> or with third party tools thanks to its standard and open format. The VisSE corpus is the result of the <a href="https://www.ucm.es/visse">VisSE Project</a>, financed by Indra and Fundaci&oacute;n Universia in the program for funding of research projects on Accesible Technologies.</p>

SROADEX: Dataset for binary recognition and semantic segmentation of road surface areas from high resolution Aerial Orthoimages Covering Approximately 8,650 km2 of the Spanish Territory Tagged with Road Information

<p>The data have been generated using scripts developed in Python using Open Source libraries (GDAL/OGR and MapScript) for rasterization of vector cartography representing the axes of the different types of roads (urban, interurban and rural). This cartography has been obtained from different Spanish official sources (National Geographic Institute and autonomic cartographic agencies) that we have revised and edited in a meticulous and systematic way to verify that the roads are represented on the cartography according to the orthoimages, available on January 1, 2021 in the download center of the National Center of Geographic Information (CNIG), on 16 rectangular areas (28,5 km * 18,5 km) of the Spanish territory (insular and peninsular).</p> <p>The dataset consists of &nbsp;777599&nbsp;images in png format of 256x256 pixels, organized in folders for the different trainings, separating those corresponding to training, testing and validation.</p> <p>The structure of the data is as follows:<br> 1-Road-Ortho and 1-Road-Mask contain the images and ground true for training the semantic segmentation networks.<br> 1-Road-Ortho and 2-NoRoad-Ortho contain aerial images containing or not containing vials, for the training of binary tessellation networks identifying tessellations with vials.<br> Moreover, in each folder the structure is the same: train, test, validation containing 90%, 5% and 5% of the total images and masks of each type.</p> <p>1-Road-Ortho</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Train</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Test</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -----Validation</p> <p>1-Road-Mask</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Train</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Test</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -----Validation</p> <p>2-NoRoad-Ortho</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Train</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; |----Test</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -----Validation</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
