Marine microfossil data guidelines survey results
<p>Results from a community survey among marine micropalaeontologists to develop guidelines to improve the reusability of marine microfossil assemblage datasets. This record contains a pdf of the survey questions (<a href="../api/records/12722701/draft/files/MiPaDataGuidelines_Google_Forms.pdf/content" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MiPaDataGuidelines_Google_Forms.pdf</a>); anonymised survey responses (<a href="../api/records/12722701/draft/files/MiPaSurveyResponses.csv/content" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MiPaSurveyResponses.csv</a>) and an overview of how the results were grouped (<a href="../api/records/12722701/draft/files/QuestionGrouping.csv/content" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">QuestionGrouping.csv</a>). In addition, <a href="../api/records/12722701/draft/files/StatusLegacyData.csv/content" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">StatusLegacyData.csv</a> presents the results of a first order analysis of how well datasets stored at PANGAEA.de conform to the guidelines derived from the survey response.</p> <p>This record forms the basis of a manuscript in prep titled "Community guidelines to increase the reusability of marine microfossil assemblage data" that will be submitted to the <a href="https://www.journal-of-micropalaeontology.net/home.html">Journal of Micropalaeontology</a>. A full description of the survey methods is provided there. Code used to analyse the results is provided in the associated script.</p>

Results of the ROSCon24 Workshop Survey 'Hands-on with ROS2 Deliberation Technologies'
<p><span>Results of the ROSCon24 Deliberation Workshop Survey:</span></p> <p><span>The members of the ROS deliberation community group (ros-wg-delib) hosted a 'Hands-on with ROS2 Deliberation Technologies' workshop at ROSCon24 in Odense. The workshop aimed to showcase the diversity of deliberation technologies, including behaviour trees, finite-state machines, task planning, and verification and validation systems. Participants had the opportunity to tackle predefined tasks using deliberation tools such as BehaviorTree.CPP, FlexBE, ros_bt_py, SkiROS2, and the AS2FM tool by CONVINCE. Guided by the tools' creators, they explored how different technologies can be applied to solve various robotic challenges.</span></p> <p><span>A survey was conducted at the end of the workshop to gather feedback from participants about the tools they explored. The survey results highlight the strengths and limitations of each tool, offering insights into areas for improvement, and are particularly valuable for the newly introduced tools developed by the CONVINCE consortium.</span></p>

Survey questionnaire and results on user needs for energy models for the European energy transition, related to Süsser et al. (2021)
<p>The online survey was designed and conducted in the framework of the EU H2020 project SENTINEL in collaboration with the project openENTRANCE. The aim of the survey was to identify needs by modellers and model result users across Europe for energy modelling. We developed it as an explorative, semi-quantitative, self-completion online questionnaire, using the online tool “LimeSurvey”. We performed the online survey among different stakeholders from academia, policy, NGO’s and energy industry. </p> <p>The study by Süsser <em>et al.</em> (2021) investigates the differences between energy model improvements and adjustments as perceived by modellers, and the actual needs of users of model results. <p>This database refers to the data collected by the European University Association (EUA) for its 2020-2021 EUA Open Science Survey, which gathered responses from universities and higher education institutions across Europe. International Society for Biocuration 2021 Survey results

Data Set from the DMP survey and interviews - intermediate results
<p>This is the data set for a series of interviews in chemistry on data management (plans) and presents interim results. A more detailed analysis and description can be found in the paper "Road to a Chemistry-specific Data Management Plan" submitted to Data Science Journal (2022-12-15).<br> The interview series will continue in 2023 and final results will be published later in 2023.</p> <p>The aim of the conducted interview series is the enrichment of the online survey data from the RDA WG Discipline-specific Guidance for DMP and in a second step the development of a chemistry-specific data management plan template. For this purpose, the current status of data management as well as information about the workflows in the various chemical disciplines were requested in a personal interview with 22 participants so far.</p> <p>All the gathered information and examples will be used to develop a DMP template or guide in line with chemistry-specific requirements. The results provide a comprehensive outlook on the future developments of RDM in chemistry. Possible strategies for implementation are also discussed.</p>

<p>This dataset contains findings from a national survey of Canadian perspectives on predicting river channel migration and river bank erosion. The online survey was conducted by researchers from the University of Guelph from November 2, 2021 through January 31, 2022 and received more than 40 responses from regions across Canada.</p>
When the practice does not meet the theory: results from an Italian survey on the clini-cal and pathway management of inpatients with decompressive craniectomy or cranioplasty admitted to rehabilitation
<p>Cranioplasty (CP) is supposed to improve the functional outcome of severe acquired brain injury (sABI) patients with decompressive craniectomy (DC). However, ongoing controversies exist regarding its indications, optimum materials, timing, complications, and relationships with hydrocephalus (HC). For these reasons, an International Consensus Conference (ICC) on CP in traumatic brain injury (TBI) was held in June 2018 to issue some recommendations.</p> <p>AIM: To investigate cross-sectionally before the ICC the prevalence of DC/CP in sABI inpatients admitted to neurorehabilitation units in Italy; to assess the perception of Italian clinicians working in the sABI neurorehabilitation settings on the management of inpatients with DC/CP during their rehabilitation stay.</p> <p>DESIGN: Cross-sectional.</p> <p>SETTING AND POPULATION: Physiatrists or neurologists working in 38 Italian rehabilitation centers involved in the care of sABI, giving a pooled sample of 599 inpatients.</p> <p>METHODS: Survey questionnaire consisting of 21 closed-ended questions with multiple-choice answers. Sixteen questions regarded the respondents' opinions and experiences regarding the clinical and management aspects of patients. Survey data were collected via e-mail between April and May 2018.</p>
