Solar and meteorological data collected from the Radio Telescope Bras D'Eau station (Mauritius) by the ENERGY-Lab at the University of La Reunion between November 2015 and March 2023

Scientific data provided by ENERGY-Lab located at the University of La Reunion. These data come from solar and meteorological stations present in the following territories: La Reunion, Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles and South Africa. A THREDDS Data Server was created as part of the IOS-net (Indian Ocean Solar Network, https://galilee.univ-reunion.fr) project which aims to study the solar field and the optimisation of intelligent solar energy systems in the countries of the IOC (Indian Ocean Commission). These data are served by Unidata's Thematic Realtime Environmental Distributed Data Services (THREDDS) Data Server (TDS) in a variety of interoperable data services and output formats.

Dataset is available from the THREDDS Data Server to this url: https://galilee.univ-reunion.fr/thredds/catalog/dataStations/catalog.html.

Data are also viewable and exploitable on the mobile application of the IOS-net project. The SolarIO app is downloadable in all stores.

ENERGY-Lab data may be reused, provided that related metadata explaining the data has been reviewed by the user, and that the data are appropriately acknowledged.

Teaser and selected scenes for Theater Play on Rodent Management in Senegal: "Funu janax yii jeumee?".

Restitution in the form of a theater play of KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, Practise) surveys and field experiments data collected during Ibrahima Sow's PGRSA - UGB Master's thesis, as well as the scientific knowledge of IRD rodentologists accumulated over several decades in Senegal. On May 04, 2024, we held a one day event in the village of Mbarigo, bringing together over a hundred participants: members of agricultural support services, academics and a majority of representatives of farmers' organizations from the 18 villages previously surveyed. During the day, we presented the premiere of a theater play in Wolof entitled “Quel destin pour ces indésirables?” - “Funu janax yii jeumee?” (aka “A tale of rats and humans”, ca. 45 minutes long) on the theme of rodent management, of which these documents are the teaser (4 min) and selected scenes of the play (13 min). The play was written, directed and produced for the occasion by Marianne Heinrich of Compagnie du Gratte Noyau, played by professional actors from Saint-Louis, with the support/partnership of IRD-LPED, UGB, the village of Mbarigo, Espace Jeunes de Saint-Louis, EMSI (Ecole des Métiers du Son et de l'Image), Centre Culturel Le Château and the Institut Français de Saint-Louis, Senegal.
