This dataset contains the mobile flux planes generated from the WRF-LES simulations at the sampling distances of 10m, 20m, 30m, 40m, 50m, 75m, 100m, 125m, and 150m downwind of different well pads. Each flux plane is 400 m long and 1 km high with 81 vertical levels.

Data from: Development of epithelial tissues: how are cleavage planes chosen?
The cross-section of a cell in a monolayer epithelial tissue can be modeled mathematically as a k-sided polygon. Empirically studied distributions of the proportions of k-sided cells in epithelia show remarkable similarities in a wide range of evolutionarily distant organisms. A variety of mathematical models have been proposed for explaining this phenomenon. The highly parsimonious simulation model of (Patel et al., PLoS Comput. Biol., 2009) that takes into account only the number of sides of a given cell and cell division already achieves a remarkably good fit with empirical distributions from Drosophila, Hydra, Xenopus, Cucumber, and Anagallis. Within the same modeling framework as in that paper, we introduce additional options for the choice of the endpoints of the cleavage plane that appear to be biologically more realistic. By taking the same data sets as our benchmarks, we found that combinations of some of our new options consistently gave better fits with each of these data sets than previously studied ones. Both our algorithm and simulation data are made available as research tools for future investigations.

High-altitude Plane / Stratoplan K.E.Tsiolkovsky
The high-altitude aircraft was invented by K.E. Tsiolkovsky in 1932. In the lower layers of the atmosphere, the plane cannot get high speeds. Its economic speed is 50 m / s or 180 km / h. If we wanted to increase its speed 2, 3, 4 times, then the power of the motors would have to be increased with the same total weight of the airplane 8, 27, 64 times, and for many reasons this is very difficult to do; for example, the motors would be fragile, the propeller would burst from rapid rotation, and the plane would not withstand the pressure of the oncoming stream, etc. In thin air, it is easier to achieve increased speed. Accurate calculations show that when the rarefaction of the medium reaches 4, 9, 16, 25, then the speed of the aircraft can increase by 2, 3, 4, 5 times, but provided that the engine power is increased by 2, 3, 4, 5 times, and not 8, 27, 64, 125 times, as is necessary below with constant air density. Horizontal and Vertical Planing Machine
This large-scale horizontal and vertical planing machine, also known as 'wallcreeper', was used to accurately create flat surfaces on large pieces of metal. It could plane both horizontal and vertical surfaces without altering the setting of the workplace. Manufacturers did a roaring trade when shipbuilders and associated companies placed orders. These machines, however, were built to last. This machine for example, was used in Renfrew maintenance works of the Clyde Navigation Trust from 1906 until 1984, which shows how reliable such tools were. Scottish manufacturers such as Thomas Shanks & Co. produced machine tools for companies worldwide. The scale of Scottish production was huge, and the development of machine tools made the large-scale manufacture of iron and steel ships possible. The 3D model was created as a part of 'Scanning The Horizon' 3D Digitisation Project. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
