Design 3D CAD data of an oversized-sample 35 GHz EPR resonator with an elevated Q value

Supplemental data for the manuscript “Design and performance of an oversized 35 GHz EPR resonator with an elevated Q value” General information The CAD dimensions match the dimension of the manufactured resonator/probehead. Not depicted in the CAD file are the modulation coils (the modulation coil holders on the sides of the cavity block are shown) and the mechanical connection between the coupling screw on top flange of the resonator and the movable coupling piston at the bottom. Autodesk Inventor files The assembly of the whole resonator is stored as “Qband_CW_Probenkopf”. All dependent subassemblies and parts can be found in the folder “Q_band_CW_resonator_Inventor”. 3D files for Open source software The complete resonator is stored in the file “Qband_CW_Probenkopf.stl”. Since in this file all resonator components are merged into a single unit and cannot be depicted on their own, all resonator components are also stored seperately as .obj-files in the folder “Qband_CW_Probenkopf_obj_format”.

Food upcycling strategies applied by the listed companies involved in food value chain

The DataSet contains a set of data that informs the analyses conducted for the study of food upcycling strategies applied by the listed companies involved in the food value chain.

This paper aims to discover the main directions of scientific discourse on food upcycling and cross-check it with the perspective of leading food chain companies. Scientific discourse was analyzed using a systematic literature review using defined query and network analysis. Theme time, the perspective of a leading food chain company, was approached through the content analysis of annual reports of listed companies. A replicable analysis approach was developed and demonstrated on two samples of companies listed on two European stock exchanges.

Bibliometric research shows that research on upcycling topics is characterized by a high level of atomization, which may indicate an early sta research stage in this field. Qualitative research on non-financial annual reports published by selected companies has shown that currently, companies do not widely use upcycling in business practice. The authors attribute this state of affairs, among others, to the lack of a uniform reporting standard covering upcycling. Another conclusion from the study is that companies operating in the food value chain closer to the consumer are more likely to initiate activities with the potential for upcycling.

Adding Beauty and Value to the Environment: North Vancouver Landscape Design

Nestled along British Columbia's stunning shoreline, North Vancouver is a secure location for homeowners and wildlife enthusiasts. Living in North Vancouver is lovely because of its verdant surroundings, towering mountains, and serene bodies of water. To be completely appreciated, this natural beauty must nevertheless be meticulously organized and preserved. This article describes North Vancouver landscape design in great depth. That covers how improving gardens, adding landscaping, and maintaining property may improve the appearance of a house and raise its market worth.

North Vancouver Property Maintenance: Preserving the Natural Beauty

Owners of land in North Vancouver have both advantages and disadvantages from its distinctive topography and mild jungle climate. Though the region receives a lot of rain, which benefits the plants, property care must be maintained to prevent issues with erosion, overgrowth, and water.

Knowing about the neighbourhood is essential to the seamless maintenance of your North Vancouver house. Everything about upkeep has to be planned to blend in with the surroundings, from routine grass care and pruning to erosion prevention and environmentally friendly irrigation techniques. Hiring professionals for North Vancouver property management guarantees that these tasks will be completed appropriately and thoughtfully. This will preserve the natural feel and shield the landscaping of your house.

Updating Outside Spaces with a Garden Renovation in North Vancouver

People often redo their gardens to make their outdoor living spaces feel fresh again when their tastes and the seasons shift. In North Vancouver Garden Renovation, where gardens link to the surrounding environment, there are many ways things may alter.

A thorough evaluation of the present landscape, accounting for factors such as the kind of native plants present, the amount of sunlight they receive, and the makeup of the soil, is the first step in any successful garden rehabilitation project. Utilising the distinctive natural features of the region, landscape designers in North Vancouver can create gardens that blend in well with their environment.

As there many landscapes in North Vancouver, there are as many methods to enhance a garden. Plan vibrant flower beds brimming with native species or serene meditation gardens inspired by the Zen-like tranquilly of the region. Through careful design, precise execution, and a dedication to sustainability, homeowners may revitalize their outdoor areas while maintaining the surrounding natural beauty.

In North Vancouver's Landscape Installations, Art and Nature Collide

Artsy gardening initiatives are a component of North Vancouver landscape design to improve the appearance of residences. Just a few of the projects that can be done to create distinctive and quaint outdoor areas are a tumbling stream, a meandering stone walkway, or a comfortable outdoor fireplace.

North Vancouver landscape alterations should be done with great consideration to maintaining the environment's purity. Long-lasting, locally produced materials like wood and natural stone not only look great with their surroundings but also lessen environmental impact during construction.

One excellent approach to respect the history of the area and make people feel more a part of their surroundings is to use indigenous culture and historical themes into landscaping. Just two instances of how these well-considered additions transform North Vancouver landscaping from just cosmetic features to significant communal emblems are garden statues featuring traditional Coast Salish art and rain gardens that mimic the area's natural filtration systems.

Data publication for "Different earthquake nucleation conditions revealed by stress drop and b-value mapping in the northern Chilean subduction zone"

Abstract: b-value catalog data publication supplement for "Different earthquake nucleation conditions revealed by stress drop and b-value mapping in the northern Chilean subduction zone" (Folesky, (SciRep,2024), https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-024-63015-w). b-vales were computed based on the IPOC seismic catalog for northern Chile (Sippl et al., 2023). b-values are computed only for events that have a known stress drop value, as assigned by Folesky et al., 2024. b-values are computed for the 200-1000 nearest neighbors of each event within a maximum distance of 50km using the maximum likelihood approach as implemented by T.Goebel (Geobel et al., 2017). Each seismotectonic class (Sippl et al., 2023) is processed separately. The standard deviation of the fit is obtained by 100 bootstrap iterations for each event while discarding randomly selected 10% of the neighbors.

File descriptions: table columns
ID, cls, Lon, Lat, Depth, Magntiude, a, b, Std
------------------
explanation
ID : origin time
cls : event class
Lon : longitude
Lat : latitude
Depth : depth in km
Magnitude : magnitude (MA)
a : a- value
b : b- value
Std : standard deviation from bootstrapping

Sippl, C., Schurr, B., Münchmeyer, J., Barrientos, S., Oncken, O. A database of Defra statutory biodiversity metric unit values for terrestrial habitat samples across England, with plant, butterfly and bird species data

Policies requiring biodiversity no net loss or net gain as an outcome of environmental planning have become more prominent worldwide, catalysing interest in biodiversity offsetting as a mechanism to compensate for development impacts on nature. Offsets rely on credible and evidence-based methods to quantify biodiversity losses and gains. Following the introduction of the United Kingdom's Environment Act in November 2021, all new developments requiring planning permission in England are expected to demonstrate a 10% biodiversity net gain from 2024, calculated using the statutory biodiversity metric framework (Defra, 2023). The metric is used to calculate both baseline and proposed post-development biodiversity units, and is set to play an increasingly prominent role in nature conservation nationwide. The metric has so far received limited scientific scrutiny.

This dataset comprises a database of statutory biodiversity metric unit values for terrestrial habitat samples across England. For each habitat sample, we present biodiversity units alongside five long-established single-attribute proxies for biodiversity (species richness, individual abundance, number of threatened species, mean species range or population, mean species range or population change). Data were compiled for species from three taxa (vascular plants, butterflies, birds), from sites across England. The dataset includes 24 sites within grassland, wetland, woodland and forest, sparsely vegetated land, cropland, heathland and shrub, i.e. all terrestrial broad habitats except urban and individual trees. Species data were reused from long-term ecological change monitoring datasets (mostly in the public domain), whilst biodiversity units were calculated following field visits. Fieldwork was carried out in April-October 2022 to calculate biodiversity units for the samples. Sites were initially assessed using metric version 3.1, which was current at the time of survey, and were subsequently updated to the statutory metric for analysis using field notes and species data. Species data were derived from 24 long-term ecological change monitoring sites across the Environmental Change Network (ECN), Long Term Monitoring Network (LTMN) and Ecological Continuity Trust (ECT), collected between 2010 and 2020.

Effect of Project Management Practices on the Improvement of Irish Potatoes Value Chain Project: A Case of SDGP Project in Musanze District, Rwanda (2020-2022)

This study investigates the impact of project management practices on the improvement of the Irish potatoes value chain project in Musanze District, Rwanda. It focuses on assessing the effects of project planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation on the project's success. Using a census method due to a small target population of 135, which included SDGP staff and local agricultural representatives, the study utilized both primary and secondary data, analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics in SPSS.

The results indicate that project management practices, particularly planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, have a strong positive correlation with project improvement. However, the study also highlights some areas of concern, such as inadequate detailed planning and beneficiary involvement. With an R-squared value of .862, these practices explain 86.2% of the variations in project improvement.

Conclusively, the study affirms that effective project management significantly enhances the Irish potatoes value chain project in Musanze District. Recommendations include refining the planning process, enhancing beneficiary involvement, improving risk management during implementation, and ensuring effective communication and use of monitoring and evaluation findings to foster better project outcomes.

Top of Form

Key words: project management practices, project improvement, project planning, project
