Single-particle tracking data for "CTCF sites display cell cycle dependent dynamics in factor binding and nucleosome positioning"

This dataset contains all the raw SPT data reported in "CTCF sites display cell cycle dependent dynamics in factor binding and nucleosome positioning" in the form of SPT trajectories. The SPT trajectories are provided in two different formats for convenience: a CSV format and a Matlab format. Both formats are readable by Spot-On: https://spoton.berkeley.edu/

The SPT data contains "fast tracking" spaSPT data and this data was analyzed using the Matlab version of Spot-On which can be found and downloaded at: https://gitlab.com/tjian-darzacq-lab/spot-on-matlab

Full details about the Matlab and CSV formats are provided in the ReadMe files in the associated zip files.

Please see the associated manuscript for a detailed description of how the data was acquired and analyzed.

Full text available at Deutsches Textarchiv: http://www.deutschestextarchiv.de/pfeiffer_frauenfahrt01_1850/6.

Modern academic writing (Aca2009): Stand, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Telemedizin in Deutschland ('Telemedicine in Germany: status, chances and limits') by Rüdiger Klar and Ernst Pelikan, published in Bundesgesundheitsblatt ('Federal Health Gazette') in 2009. DOI 10.1007/s00103-009-0787-7.

The texts are annotated for part-of-speech and dependency syntax and are made available in CoNLL file format. We describe the annotation process and report inter-annotator agreements in:

Adelmann, Benedikt, Melanie Andresen, Wolfgang Menzel & Heike Zinsmeister. 2018. Target set-dependent activity cliffs

Two databases comprising a total of 13,886 (i)sdMMP-cliffs (93 target sets) and 8140 (i)sdRMMP- cliffs (73 target sets) are provided. For each of 93 and 73 target sets with sdMMP- and sdRMMP-cliffs, respectively, ChEMBL ID, target name, and corresponding PubChem assay IDs (AIDs) are reported and all ACs are provided including isdMMP-cliffs (21 of 93 sets) and isdRMMP-cliffs (eight of 73 sets). For each active AC compound, the ChEMBL ID, NonStereoAromaticSMILES (in-house version) representation, and potency value are given and for each inactive AC compound, the PubChem ID (CID) and SMILES representation.

Data for: Optogenetic olfactory behavior depends on illumination characteristics

Abstract

Optogenetics has become an important tool to study behavior: it enables neuroscientists to infer causations by examining animal behavior after activating genetically circumscribed neurons with light. Light-induced activity is profoundly affected by illumination parameters used in experiments, such as intensity, duration, and frequency. How sensitive behavioral outcomes to light-dependent spike changes has not been extensively studied. Here, we investigated the hypothesis that light frequency would alter optogenetically induced behaviours. To test this, we activated olfactory receptor neurons (ORNs) in Drosophila by using either static- or pulsed-light stimuli. Static- and pulsed-light stimulations elicited distinct valence responses (attraction, aversion, neutral) to artificial activity in ORNs. Our results demonstrate the importance of light frequency for interpreting behavioral experiments accurately, and suggest that multiple light parameters should be tested before generalizing behavioral experiment results.

Does evaluative learning depend on the statistical relationship between stimuli? On the sensitivity of evaluative cue conditioning to ecological contingencies

Evaluative conditioning (EC) is concerned with the transfer of valence from an unconditioned stimulus (US) to a conditioned stimulus (CS). Only recently the notion of EC was extended from individual CSs to categories of CSs that share certain cues. That research shows that a contingency implemented between a cue dimension and US valence has a direct effect on the evaluation of stimuli carrying values of this cue dimension. This phenomenon was coined “evaluative cue conditioning” (ECC). The present research tests whether ECC is sensitive to the contingency between a cue dimension and US valence. The present work thereby investigates the impact of ecological contingencies that define contingency by reference to all other CS-US pairings in the learning environment. Two experiments demonstrate that ECC effects are sensitive to the strength of the ecological contingency, suggesting that ECC is a relative phenomenon that depends on the valence of the CS-US pairings in the reference set. Moreover, these findings call for more research on the contingency sensitivity of standard EC effects using this revised definition of contingency.

Angle-dependent magnetization dynamics with mirror-symmetric excitations in artificial quasicrystalline nanomagnet lattices

The file ManscuriptDataFiles.7z contains RAW spectroscopy data, origin plot file, micromagnetic simulation MIF files at 100 mT used in the manuscript entitiled "Angle-dependent magnetization dynamics with mirror-symmetric excitations in artificial quasicrystalline nanomagnet lattices" that appeared in Physical Review B, 98, 174408 (2018).

Manuscript Abstract: We report angle-dependent spin-wave spectroscopy on aperiodic quasicrystalline magnetic lattices, i.e., Ammann, Penrose P2 and P3 lattices made of large arrays of interconnected Ni80Fe20 nanobars. Spin-wave spectra obtained in the nearly saturated state contain distinct sets of resonances with characteristic angular dependencies for applied in-plane magnetic fields. Micromagnetic simulations allow us to attribute detected resonances to mode profiles with specific mirror symmetries. Spectra in the reversal regime show systematic emergence and disappearance of spin-wave modes indicating reprogrammable magnonic characteristics.
