Lamborghini Diablo SV -95 (Free Asset)
Introduced in 1995, the πππππππππ Lamborghini Diablo SV (Super Veloce) builds upon the already amazing Diablo from 1990. Powered by an immensely powerful 5.7L V12 rear mounted engine outputting 510 hp, the SV was priced to be the entry-level Diablo model, although there is nothing "entry-level" about this car. Arguably one of the best looking cars of all time - the Lamborghini Diablo SV has and always will have a special place in my heart. ππ You can use it for your own short films, animations, games etc. If you like it and want to say thank you for my work put into this model, please subscribe to my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/tiedtkeio where I upload tutorials and videos about Blender, Maya and Unreal Engine 5 - that's helps me a lot. Also, if you like this model please consider giving it a like. πβοΈ Made by tiedtke. Thank you! Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

UU Webinar 1: Kean Birch on assets and rents in digitalised higher education

Title: Rentiership in EdTech: Data as asset, data as rent?

Abstract: This webinar will present the concepts of assetisation and rentiership. It will discuss different types of assets in higher education, how they are made valuable, and the consequences. The webinar is relevant for academics, practitioners, and policymakers.

Speaker: Kean Birch

Bio: Kean Birch is a Professor at York University, Canada. He is particularly interested in understanding technoscientific capitalism and draws on a range of perspectives from science & technology studies, economic geography, and economic sociology to study it. More specifically, his research focuses on the restructuring and transformation of the economy & financial knowledges and technoscience & technoscientific innovation. Currently, he is researching how different things (e.g. knowledge, personality, loyalty, etc.) are turned into ‘assets’ & how economic rents are then captured from those assets - basically, in processes of assetisation and rentiership.

Link to Kean’s website: https://euc.yorku.ca/faculty/kean-birch/

Date of event: 22 June 2023

Project Γ Media Assets | Illustrations

In line with the DoA’s statement that in T8.5 External Communications, ‘Dissemination material for non-expert communities will be produced,’ new illustrative media, photos, visuals and other communication materials were created by IMI. This included creating custom-designed illustrations to communicate key project ideas and establishing a consortium-accessible media repository. This repository is part of the project legacy and can be used by other EC-funded projects promoting a circular water economy. All visuals planned for the website were developed such that they boost communication on the website, but also act as individual shareable items across social media and other communication channels.

Global database of cement production assets and upstream suppliers

Cement producers and their investors are navigating evolving risks and opportunities as the sector's climate and sustainability implications become more prominent. While many companies now disclose greenhouse gas emissions, the majority offrom carbon-intensive industries appear to delegate emissions to less efficient suppliers. Recognizing this, we underscore the necessity for a globally consolidated asset-level dataset, which acknowledges production inputs provenance. Our approach not only consolidates data from established sources like development banks and governments but innovatively integrates the age of plants and the sourcing patterns of raw materials as two foundational variables of the asset-level data. These variables are instrumental in modeling cement production utilization rates, which in turn, critically influence a company's greenhouse emissions. Our method successfully combines geospatial computer vision and Large Language Modelling techniques to ensure a comprehensive and holistic understanding of global cement production dynamics.

Venus of Milo game asset
This is a Game ready asset based on the Venus de Milo. I made a retopo over a high poly 3d scanned model using Instant Meshes. The scanned model was made using Meshroom to create a photogrammetry model based on a little statue I have in my house . Then I fixed the topology using Blender 2.9 and optimized the model using modificators. I exported the low poly version to Substance Painter and bake the PBR maps. Finally I created the textures from scratch. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Luger - Game ready asset
This is a low poly model of a Luger, a german half automatic pistol from 1898. It is game ready, meaning it is optimized enough to be used in realtime rendering. Keep in mind that the pivot point of the gun is not placed directly on the grip. Modelled in blender and textured with Substance Painter. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
