JUNO JUPITER RAW GRAVITY SCIENCE 1 V1.0

This data set contains archival raw, partially processed, and ancillary/supporting gravity science data acquired during the Juno Jupiter orbits starting in July 2016. The radio observations were carried out using the Juno spacecraft and Earth-based receiving stations of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN). The data set was designed primarily to determine the gravitational field of Jupiter. Of most interest are likely to be the Orbit Data Files in the ODF directory, which provided the raw input to gravity investigations, as well as the tropospheric media calibration file produced by the Advanced Media Calibration (AMC) system.

JUNO JUPITER MWR 2 EXPERIMENT DATA RECORDS V1.0

The Juno MWR EDR data sets will ultimately include all uncalibrated MWR science data records for the entire Juno mission. The set in this volume will contain only those data obtained during the orbital phase of the Juno mission, when this phase of the mission is completed. These data comprise the raw data that address the primary objectives of the Juno mission. They consist of data obtained at the full MWR data rate during a five-hour period around each perijove pass, and data obtained at all other times for the purpose of instrument calibration and perform- ance monitoring. This volume consists of reformatted and uncalibrated data records. The reformatting operation reassembles received instrument data packets into one-hour-long records of time-ordered data correspond- ing to 100-ms observations made by the MWR instrument. This data set is intended to preserve the full content of the uncalibrated instrument packets and is to be used only as a last resort. The level 3 MWR archived data are designed to be complete and more easily used.

JUNO JUPITER UVS 3 REDUCED DATA RECORD V1.0

The Juno Ultraviolet Spectrograph (UVS) CODMAC Level 3 Reduced Data Record is a collection of the far ultraviolet photon detections obtained by the UVS instrument, corrected for instrumental effects, radiometrically calibrated, and correlated with the auxiliary information needed to locate the observations in space and time. These data are organized, in a manner very similar to the RDR product files from which they are derived, into extensions within files formatted according to the Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) standard, version 2.1b. The UVS RDR archive enables reprocessing of the corrected and calibrated science data into far ultraviolet map products as map processing routines improve. Investigators interested in applying advanced mapping methods or needing to understand the properties of the corrected and calibrated data will find the RDR products useful. Many investigators, however, will be interested in using the UVS CODMAC Level 5 far ultraviolet map products directly.

JUNO E/J/S/SS WAVES CALIBRATED BURST FULL RESOLUTION V1.0

The Juno Waves calibrated burst waveform full resolution data set includes all high rate science electric field waveforms from 50Hz up to 45.25 MHz and magnetic field waveforms from 50Hz to 20kHz with sample rates that depend on the receiver used to obtain the waveforms. This is the complete waveform data set containing all high rate binning mode data and record mode data received from Waves from launch until the end of mission including initial checkout, the Earth flyby, the Jupiter orbits and cruise. Data are acquired from the Waves Low Frequency Receiver (LFR) and High Frequency Receiver (HFR) and are typically losslessly compressed on board. These data are presented in binary SERIES objects. This data set comprises highest temporal resolution data obtained by Waves (or all other Juno instruments, for that matter). Pre-rendered spectrograms generated from these data are included as well to provide the user with a quick view of the content of the data. This data set should be among the last used of any in the Waves archive as it provides highly detailed information on very short isolated intervals in time. The Waves full resolution survey data provide context for these data.

JUNO JUPITER UVS 2 EXPERIMENT DATA RECORD V1.0

The Juno Ultraviolet Spectrograph (UVS) CODMAC Level 2 Experiment Data Record is a collection of the far ultraviolet photon detections obtained by the UVS instrument, in raw form. As such, it constitutes the permanent record of the raw UVS data. These data include both the instrument science and housekeeping data, organized into extensions within files formatted according to the Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) standard, version 2.1b. The UVS EDR archive enables reprocessing of the raw science data as radiometric and geometric calibration processing routines improve. Investigators interested in applying advanced calibration methods or needing to understand the properties of the raw data will find the EDR products useful. Most investigators, however, will be interested in using either the UVS data products contained in the CODMAC Level 3 Reduced Data Record, as radiometric and geometric calibration processing has already been done for these products, or the UVS CODMAC Level 5 far ultraviolet map products.

JUNO J ENERGETIC PARTICLE DETECTOR UNCALIBRATED V1.0

Abstract ======== This data set consists of the JUNO JEDI (Jupiter Energetic-Particle Detector) uncalibrated observations, also known as EDRs. The system is made up of 3 instrument subsystems (pucks) aligned in three directions on the spinning JUNO spacecraft. The pucks each have 6 look directions (telescopes) with a time of flight (TOF) and a deposited energy detection (SSD) system. In addition, the pulse height of the signal in the TOF system can be used for energy measurement. The instruments can be operated in a variety of modes, differing in the way they use and combine these measurements. More details are available in the INSTRUMENT.CAT file and the JEDI SIS. The EDRs are organized in files covering one day of spacecraft event time (SCET). There are potentially 10 different files per puck, corresponding to the available data gathering modes: HIERSESP, HIERSISP, HIERSTOFXER, HIERSTOFXPHR, LOERSESP, LOERSISP, LOERSTOFXER, LOERSTOFXPHR, NONPTOFXER, NONPTOFXPHR. Depending on how the pucks are operated, not all data types will be available for all pucks for any particular time range.

JUNO E/J/S/SS WAVES EXPERIMENT DATA RECORDS V1.0

The Juno Waves EDR complete data set includes all Waves science and housekeeping data for the entire Juno mission. This data set consists of reformatted, uncalibrated, spectra and waveforms as well as unaltered housekeeping packets. The reformatting operation re-assembles measurements which were too long to fit with in a single transmission unit to the Juno flight data system as well as decompressing data that were transmitted in compressed form. The data for this set were acquired from the Waves Low Frequency Receiver (LFR), High Frequency Receivers (HFR-44, HFR-45), as well as the Digital Signal Processor's housekeeping output. This data set is intended to preserve the uncalibrated instrument packets and is to be used only as a last resort. Other Waves archived data sets are designed to be complete and more easily used. Browse images associated with the other data sets provide a graphical search of the data included in this data set.
