<p><strong>Abstract</strong>: b-value catalog data publication supplement for "Different earthquake nucleation conditions revealed by stress drop and b-value mapping in the northern Chilean subduction zone" (Folesky, (SciRep,2024), <a href="https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-024-63015-w">https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-024-63015-w</a>). b-vales were computed based on the IPOC seismic catalog for northern Chile (Sippl et al., 2023).&nbsp; b-values are computed only for events that have a known stress drop value, as assigned by Folesky et al., 2024. b-values are computed for the 200-1000 nearest neighbors of each event within a maximum distance of 50km using the maximum likelihood approach as implemented by T.Goebel (Geobel et al., 2017). Each seismotectonic class (Sippl et al., 2023) is processed separately. <p>Raw data, reduced data and fitting scripts used to produce figures in publication "Nucleation behavior of SnS2 on thiol functionalized SAMs dur-<br>ing solution based atomic layer deposition", K.G&ouml;tz et al. in Advanced Materials Interfaces (Wiley), https://doi.org/10.1002/admi.202300990.</p> <p>The data is composed in a .zip file. The zip file contains a folder for each graphic in the publication containing data. In these folders data is filed as "raw data", "reduced data" and "fit script". With the datasets and fit files contained within the .zip folder all data from the publication can be reproduced.</p> <p>The rawdata folders contain the raw data as produced from the used instrument. This consists of:</p> <ul> <li>DESY: Detector tiff images for each scattering angle</li> <li>GIWAXS: Detector tiff images, containing silver behenate measurements for distance calibration.</li> <li>XRR Inhouse: xy-ASCII files in .ras format of RIGAKU.</li> <li>AFM: .tiff image produced by PARKS Systems</li> </ul> <p>The reduced data contains xy-ASCII files of the data reduced to the form presented in the publication.</p> <p>Fit scripts contain the scripts used to fit the data. This consists of:</p> <ul> <li>.hgx files for genX for XRR fits</li> <li>a file structure with scripts to use with the DISCUS suite for the GIWAXS data</li> </ul>

Estimation of the nucleation location and rupture extent of the 1850 Xichang, Sichuan, China, earthquake by dynamic rupture simulations on a multi-segment stepover structure

<p>These datasets accompany the Zemuhe fault surface coordinates that were used for&nbsp;construction of the fault geometry model, the observational fault surface slip of the 1850 Xichang M 7.5 earthquake and the intensity distribution in&nbsp;Estimation of&nbsp;the nucleation location and rupture extent of the 1850 Xichang, Sichuan, China, earthquake by dynamic rupture simulations on a multi-segment stepover structure&nbsp;submitted to&nbsp;Earth and Space Science by Yu&nbsp;et al. (2023). The data is structured as follows:</p> <p>Once unzipped the data within the archive are six txt files: fault_surface_slip_Feng.txt, which is from Feng et al. (2000); fault_surface_slip_Ren.txt, which is from Ren and Lin (2010), fault_surface_slip_Yu.txt, which is from Yu et al., (2001); intensity.txt, which is from Feng et al. (2000); landslides.txt, which is from Guo et al. (2014) and Cao (2015); zemuhe_fault_surface_coordinates.txt, which is from Working group for geologic mapping on Zemuhe fault (2000). The file folder stress_configuration contains the initial stress setup for the model in Figure 5e.</p>
