For this test I used two images, front and back, to create a more realistic 3D model of the original fragment. The fracture has also been repaired like before. As there was no image of the sherd's sides I have estimated its depth. ram's head capital terracotta wallpanel Neuburg
Original piece of the historic wall-decoration - system of the three main rooms on ground level in Schloss Neuburg at the river Inn close to Passau. It shows a stylized ram's head as a capital, made of terracotta, dating aprox. 1531. This item belongs to the collection of the Gallen-Kallela Museum, Finland. A hollow terracotta object depicting a women, possibly brushing her hair in front of a doorway. The origin and use of the object are unknown. The Gallen-Kallela family brought several ethnographic and archaeological items from their journey to various African countries. 3D-digitoitu osana Kotona kulttuurissa -tutkimushanketta 2020-2021, käyttäen digitaalista fotogrammetriaa. 3D-digitointia on yksinkertaistettu katselukokemuksen sujuvoittamiseksi. 3D digitized as part of the Making Home Abroad research project 2020-2021, using digital photogrammetry.
