Collection of pXRF Data Corresponding to Study Spectral Samples | Southwest Australia Acid Saline Sediments | Radwin 2022
<p>This file contains pXRF data from a portable Bruker XRF instrument using mudrock calibration settings, where each sample was scanned for 90 seconds to alternate through energy spectrums. This data has at tab displaying associated file numbers that correspond to sample ID's. These sample ID's all correspond to spectra of the same sample location used for the pXRF measurements. This data was collected for the completion of a masters thesis at the University of Utah Department of Geology & Geophysics. </p>
Spatial variability and driving factors of ecosystem services balance at watershed scale in the Lancang River Valley, Southwest China
<p>Revealing the spatio-temporal change of the supply, demand and balance of ecosystem services (ES) associated with human activities and land use changes is of great significance for watershed ecosystem management. Taking the Lancang River Valley as a case, we explicitly studied the ES spatial characteristics using the land use/land cover (LULC) matrix model, Optimized Hot Spot Analysis and landscape pattern analysis. Further, we screened out the dominant explanatory variables which had significant influence on ES supply, demand and balance by means of Geographical Weighted Regression (GWR) method at pixel scale. The results showed that the ES demand intensity varied little throughout the watershed while the downstream ES supply capacity and balance value were greater than upstream. Meanwhile, the hotspots of ES supply and demand were mainly distributed in the south part but coldspots in the north part. Human activity factors integrating landscape pattern variables were verified to have negative impact on ES balance in general. Among them, the Largest Patch Index (LPI) had a negative influence of majority pixels while GDP, cultivated land ratio and Area Weighted Average Patch Fractal Dimension (AWAPFD) had positive effects on a few pixels. This study will provide scientific support for regional ecosystem service trade-off and regulation at multiple scales.</p>

Acoustic geophysical data over the site of the proposed Mahuika Crater on the continental shelf southwest of New Zealand
<p>This dataset contains acoustic geophysical data used to question the existence of the Mahuika Crater: a proposed impact depression 20.2 km wide lying on the continental shelf ~250 km SW of New Zealand. Multibeam echo sounder and sub-bottom profiler data, provided in this dataset, across the published location of the crater was collected and synthesised with existing bathymetry data for the wider region to assess the validity of such a claim. We conclude that there is no geophysical basis for the existence for the Mahuika impact crater.</p> <p>The multibeam echo sounder data was collected using a Kongsberg EM302 MBES. These data are provided in the Kongsberg raw *.all file format. </p> <p>Sub-bottom acoustic data was collected by a 3.5 kHz Knudsen chirp sub-bottom profiler. These data are provided in the Knudsen raw *.keb format and have also been converted to a *.sgy format using the Knudsen Conversion Utility software.</p>

BI posterior probabilities above 80% and ML boostrap proportions above 75% were indicated at the nodes, the scale bar 0.02 indicates the number of expected mutations per site. The tree was rooted to Idriella lunata (CBS 204.56) and Idriella lunata (CBS 177.57). Species of Microdochium was well-supported (BP= 100%, PP=100%), a new species M. chuxiongense YFCC 8794 in this work formed a separate clade with M. indocalami (BP= 82%, PP=83%).
